Chapter Three
As I sit there in the cold uncomfortable chair I wonder who could have sent the note. I scan the room. I really like the look of Kyle. Brown short ruffled hair with beautiful blue eyes, he's popular and smart. I don't mind him. Or Calvin. He's good looking and friendly but not popular or smart. I seriously hope it isn't John. John's a nerd. Big glasses, braces and chess club nerd.
While I am on the bus home I pull the note out of my bag and read it over and over again. If only it was primary school then I would know who's handwriting it is, but in high school you have different people in every class.
When I get home I run straight up to my computer to I-am Mary. I open my computer to find a I-am message from Mary.
Puplover9410: Hey got some BIG news 4 U. I-am me back 4 more info.
I I-am back straight away.
Loner427: Yeh, wat is the news?
Puplover9410: I got house captain, isn't it gr8!
Loner427: Gr8!
Puplover9410: How R U?
Loner427: Gr8! I got a love note, I don't no who its from but I hope it's someone good.
Puplover9410: OMG! Send me a pic.
I send her a picture and she can't believe her eyes.
I I-am for the last time when I hear Lily come through the front door.
Loner427: Talk 2 U tomoz. Xx
I race down stairs and bump into Lily. "Lil I have something to show you!" I stop talking when I look into Lily's eyes. "Sorry," I apologise. Mum comes out from the living room. "Hey Lily, how was-" Mum stops when Lily ignores her and runs up stairs.
I'm working on my homework when Lily comes in. "You wanted to show me something?" Lily asks. "Yes!" I answer. "Tell me what you think," I hand her the note. Lily reads, and then passes me the note back to me. "Who would have thought!" Lily answers. "Who would have thought!" I imitated. We talk for a long time and Lily tells me about Hannah the new girl in her class. We sit in silence for a while and then we go downstairs for dinner.
