Chapter 14: Hearts and Diamonds

I storm out of the cafeteria with Mykey and Jennifer hot on my tail.

When I get to the water fountain I spin around glaring at Jennifer.

"What?" she asks.

"How did you know?"

She looks down at her toes, then looks back up to me, "Kevin and I have known each other for a while. His family and mine were close so I know about all him. Well his and your mate state."

I look at Mykey.

She held up her hands in innocence, "She told me before you came back."

I look back at Jennifer, "Why did you let me go off with him to the Blood Moon pack?"

She shrugged.

Mykey asked, "But how was it, seeing him again. Did you kill him after giving him your blood?"

I lowered my head, "No...I slept with him after."

"Wait which one Kevin or Keith?"

"Keith," I look up at them with tears filling my eyes.

The look shocked.

"I'm such a slut! I regret it already" I exclaim kicking the fountain, cracking it.

"Do you regret it with Kevin or Keith?" Mykey asks.

"Let's finish this conversation in your room, we're getting an audience," says Jennifer.

I turn my head to the Cafeteria and see people poking their head out of the door and windows. George and Kevin are standing outside the door. I lock eyes with Keith.

He heard Mykey's question.

I gaze over the peeping pack members. They heard it too. They are waiting for my answer.

I can't deal with this right now.

I speed walk to the housing building with Jen and Mykey following suit.

Once I get to my room door I stop in my tracks.

Michelle help me I'm in the forest.

I couldn't at first tell who it was but then I turned to them.

I look to my left and grab the door knob throwing the door open.

She's gone.

I lowly growled, "Something's happened to my mother."

Kevin's POV

"Why did she run out of here like that?" I ask George turning my head to him.

He shrugs, "I don't know."

The waiter brings the food and asks what I want.

"Oh, I'm fine."

He nods and walks away.

Everyone migrates to the door and windows. I look at what they are looking at.

They're just paying attention to Michelle, Mykey and Jennifer.

I look to George and get up.

We walk outside and stand right outside of the Cafeteria doors.

Their backs are turned away from us.

My ears perk up when I heard Michelle say my name.

"I'm such a slut! I regret it already," she says kicking the fountain.

Good thing that thing is reinfornced with titanium or that would have broken.

Now that I think about it, It still might have broken just like those doors.

"Do you regret it with Kevin or Keith?" Mykey asks.

My eyes widen.

Does she really regret having sex with me?

Jennifer turns and sees us.

"Let's finish this conversation in your room, we're getting an audience," says Jennifer.

She didn't answer the question yet.

Her eyes lock with mine.

Why won't she answer it?

She looked away and gazed at everyone else, I looked too.

They all had the same expression I had.

She sped walk to the housing building, avoiding any confrontation.

I turn around and see everyone looking at me, "Will you guys mind your own business!" I shout.

They quickly left. When I walk back in everyone is eating and talking amongst themselves.

I walk to the kitchen, "Can I have my food delivered to the Alpha's room? And also can have the Alpha's food and everyone else who left with her delivered to her room too?"

They nod and I leave the cafeteria.

Leaving George to eat by himself.

He'll be fine.

This chapter was short lol I got tired of typing and didn't know where to go with it.
