Karver's POV
"Why would I trust you?" Michelle asks, getting off of me.
That's a good question.
Why should she trust me?
She just met me.
Well, she thinks she just met me.
I fondle with my necklace as she glares at me, waiting for an answer.
I swore not to.
I don't break promises.
"I never said you had to trust me," I said standing.
I around and start walking away from her, knowing that she would follow.
1...
2...
3...
C'mon now.
4...
5...
"Wait!" She exclaims.
I smirk and slowly turn around. "Yes?"
She walks toward me.
She stops a foot away and reaches her hand to me.
"Your necklace."
I look down and see that her thumb is circling the wooden piece.
"It's familiar, I've seen this before."
I look to her eyes and they start to turn red.
"I've seen a picture of it in the files."
She wraps her hand the necklace.
She's going to break it.
I grab her hand, "Don't," I warn her.
"Well who the hell are you?" She asks.
"I'm-"
The sound of leaves crunching filled my ears, someone was approaching.
I look at Michelle and see that she is aware of the new visitor and is trying to sense him.
Swoosh!
The next thing I know my brother is standing behind Michelle.
She quickly jumps away from him.
But she is too slow.
"Too slow honey," he remarks.
He appears behind her again, sinking his teeth into her neck drinking her blood. I run and throw him off of her.
"CARVER! What the hell!" I scream and him, slamming him into a tree.
"I'm sorry brother, did you already have dibs? You just remet her and you already fancy her, again?" He smirks.
I growl, "You know that she is a werewolf and you biting her will kill her!"
"What do I care! Hell, Why are you advising me, last time I check we weren't talking."
"I'm not having this discussion right now," I say stepping away from him and walking toward her.
She's grabbing her neck, the bite marks aren't healing. The skin around it starts to blister.
She becomes out of breath and starts panting.
"Well now you know what you have to do to save her. Wow you're little "Chee" will hate you know. Oh wait she doesn't remember you. So that means she doesn't remember who you actually are."
I glare at him.
"Rip off your necklace, what do you have to hide? Are you ashamed of what Dad turned us into?"
I don't answer that.
He already knows that answer.
Our father turned us into freaks of nature.
"Rip off your necklace or she will die"
"Rip it off!" He taunts.
"Rip it off, mate!" He says again.
I rip off my necklace and bite my wrists.
Ouch, I forgot how much that hurts.
By the time I got back to her my wrist healed.
Damnit
I sit behind her and look back at my wrist.
I did this to her so I have to face the pain.
I bite my wrist and bring it to her lips, "Drink it, Michelle." I say.
She pushes my wrist away, "Drink it!" I order.
She shakes her head. I look at her neck. It's killing her.
My wrist healed back up.
Damnit this is going to be the last time I do this.
I need a strategy. In one swift moment with her back facing me, I wrap my legs around her and pull her down with me locking her in place. I bite my wrist harder and put it on her lips. I place my hand on her abdomen, ready to hit it to make her gasp.
Her abdomen is hard. I lift up her shirt keeping my grip on her.
"Damnit you're pregnant," I whisper in her ear.
I pull her shirt down.
I hit her chest with my hand, she gasps and the blood floods her mouth. I cover her mouth so she can't spit it out.
She stares at me with tears filling her eyes, shaking her head.
Her hands are clawing at my arm.
"Chee stop we need to save you"
Her eyes widen, she recognizes the name.
She swallows.
I fear for the next thing I have to do.
Carver coughs.
He walks toward me slowly, clapping.
"Well now that you've done that, I feel more obligated to do this."
He quickly grabs Michelle and jumps with her 500 yards away.
He's faster than me but I jump toward him. As I land next to him he snaps her neck, Her lifeless body falling to the ground.
I grab his shirt.
"Now, now, love, you know that that was to be done, what was the point of giving her your blood if you wouldn't kill her too. You know that she's going to come back to life"
I punch him in the face. "She was pregnant!"
He smirks, wiping the blood off his chin with the back of his hand, "Whoops."
