"Okay so today we are going to be working on our stamina," the training instructor said, eyeing us as he walked around us..
We nod.
"So make your 20 laps around the territory, that's it. Then you can leave once you've finished."
We nod, again. We were use to this. Transforming into a wolf form made this amount of running a little bit easier.
"Oh and I should add, you will stay in your human form."
Groans were heard from the group.
Great now he is going to give us more laps.
He glares at us. "30! You now have a time limit. 3 HOURS!"
Everyone's eyes shot out is surprise.
Everyone but me.
I need to push myself to the limit. I will do 60 if I have to.
At least I'm still alive, unlike my mom who died because I was not fast enough or smart enough.
"BEGIN!"
Many people started off really fast.
I started off at a medium speed. The territory is about 2.5 miles around so times 30 is 75 miles.
I run at about 2 minutes per mile, faster than any human.
Well 2 minutes at a well paced speed.
75 minutes later
Halfway there.
I might actually be the only one who has kept a consistent pace.
1st in line, while the others are trailing behind me, barely.
I quicken my pace because I am now bored and want to get the rest of these laps over with.
After the 20th lap I start to break a sweat.
I'm out of shape.
No one is behind me now, but that's because I've lapped everyone at least 15 times
I push to the 30's.
I'm out of breath.
My pace slows down. My vision gets blurry as I'm 50 feet from finishing the 40th lap.
I stumble to the line.
I need water, I think as I cross it. My eyes start to form dark spots at the corners. My vision has failed me.

"Did you know that she was pregnant?" a voice asks.
"Pregnant? No," another voice answers.
Wait are they talking about me?
"Yes, she is 2 months pregnant."
2 months who was I sleeping with 2 months ago?
Kevin...
and
Keith.
Wow time goes by so fast.
"Are you the father?" The first voice asks.
"Of course I am!" I recognize the voice as Kevin.
I open my eyes and notice that I am in my bedroom.
Kevin and one of the doctors are at the foot of my bed. I shuffle around.
Their eyes shoot over to me.
