Keith's POV
"This is all your fault!" the dweeb snarked at me.
"Me? How is this my fault? Shouldn't you be protecting her?"
"Well you're her mate!" He snapped.
He was right. I am her mate.
"But she is here with you so you have to protect her!"
I was dumbfounded.
I was here with her, she was in my grasp and I lost her.
No, I didn't lose her.
She was taken from me; from us.
No.
My child was taken from me.
And only ME.
Michelle's POV
The van was cloaked in darkness.
I have been in here for about 25 minutes. My abdomen hurts so much.
The van comes to a quick stop, making me slide to one side of the van forcibly.
C'mon Michelle if you get mad enough then you can burn the ropes. My inner wolf speaks to me.
I try to make myself angry, but I can't.
C'mon GET MAD she says again.
Think about everything and everyone you lost: Your Mom and Dad. What are you going to do when your pack finds out how weak you are?
"NO!" I scream out. I break out of the ropes. I start breathing heavy from the adrenaline.
I see that it's still dark and the van hasn't moved since. I strain my ears to listen for extra voices.
I don't hear anything. I charge through the back door, tumbling onto the ground. I look up dazed from my head hitting the ground.
It's still dark.
I don't hear anyone around me so I run.
I run and shift into my wolf form.
I run for about a mile, but then I slam into... nothing.
I literally slam into thin air. I retract my steps and try to run again, but I'm met with the same fate.
I lift my paw up.
It's a forcefield.
I look down and see a trail of salt.
No.
It's a boundary spell.
I howl and turn back into my human form.
I smell a witch.

"One thing that you should always know is that witches love their boundary spells," My mom said, opening up her grimoire.
We are in the cafeteria eating alfredo pasta and cabbage. She decided to give me my 3rd lesson on my witch heritage.
"What is a boundary spell?" I ask twirling my pasta with my fork.
She turns the page and looks up to me, "It's an unbreakable spell that is bounded by salt. As in the name the spell is to create a boundary around someone... or something."
She points to the book. "Well unbreakable to the average witch, but we are not the average witch and this is not your average grimoire. This is a grimoire created by the first witch herself. The difference between this grimoire and the others is that this one doesn't have spells. It has potions and herb mixes. Potions that are purposely written for people of our bloodline. If someone that was not from our bloodline mixes this potion it won't work. The potion works with a drop of our blood onto either into the potion or onto the herbs."
