We walked out the building. He turned around and held out his hand for me to take. It felt like slow motion.

4 hours earlier

I hear the door open. "Where were you?" I ask him, slightly worried.

"I was out getting this." He says as he lifts up his sleeve.

"You got my name tatted on your arm?" I ask.

"Yeah," He moves in for a swift kiss. "You're my lucky charm."

I just smile and look away as a blush spreads across my cheeks. I go back to the table to pack up everything else that we need for later. Not even a minute later, I feel a pair of arms slide around my waist. I turn around to meet the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen. They're usually blue, but they show flecks of green as a ray of light shines across his face. I close my eyes as I lean in, sealing the deal on my future.

As he pulls away, he reaches into his pocket.

"I also got this for you." He says as he holds out a ring with a gold band adorned with a single diamond. "Read the inscription".

"My ride 'til the end." I whisper as I stare back at the words.

"What do you say? I don't care if we're on the run, as long as I'm next to you. You're my ride and die, my partner in crime. Please, say yes."

I let his words settle in the still air before I respond. "Of course I'll marry you." I finally say as I look to him with a smile.

"I want to do it today." He says seriously after we hug.

"Why so soon?" I question, equally as serious.

"I want you to be my wife before we go to Losienega. If something happens to either one of us, at least in the end, you'll always be mine."

I nod my head. "O.k"

I was a good girl until I met him. The first time I saw him, I knew he would change my life forever. I would see him hanging out in front of his '74 Camaro with his boys as I walked home from school. There was something about him that drew me to him, even when he had yet to notice me. One fateful day, however, he looked up and shared my gaze. After that was history.

No one saw what I saw in him. He may have dropped out of school, but I saw the potential in him that no one else even bothered to see. I fell in love with the "bad guy" and if it's just me and him against the world, then so be it. If loving him had a price, then I'd pay with my life.

Next thing I know, I'm walking down an aisle with a knee length white dress on. He drove us to the first chapel we could find on the road. It was nice and quaint, yet deteriorating. My hands are tightly grasping a rosary that the father gave me and a flower that I picked out front. I look up to see my "bad guy" waiting at the other end of the aisle.

Thinking that we were on our way to Losienega, he suddenly pulls over to the side of the empty road. He meets my confused look with a reassuring one. He leans over and places a hand on my cheek before placing his lips on mine. His tongue glides against my lips, asking for entrance. Losing myself in him, I barely notice when I find myself straddling over him in the driver's seat. He lays the seat back as I begin to feel a rush.

*******

We eventually pull up to the small town of Losienega. This time when he pulls over, I get out to open the trunk. I hand him his duffel bag before I take out mine. Pulling on my mask, I take my husband's hand as we walk up to the bank.

"Everyone on the floor now!" He shouts as I unzip my bag to take out my gun. With his already out, he puts holes in the ceiling as a warning.

25 minutes later

Being a quiet town, it was easy to hear the sirens come closer. We made a last round around the bank, collecting valuables from people's pockets before leaving. He was a few steps ahead, letting the bright light of the sun shine down on us as he opened the door. We were practically jogging to the car. Out of nowhere, he stops. He turned around and held out his hand for me to take. It felt like slow motion.
