Previously:"We drove past the bookstore on Willcrust with the tulips in front of the window. The hat shop on Raiston, and the coffee shop on Mill Street that Kyle worked at on Sunday nights. It was the worst shift, late night right before Monday classes. So we all went in on Sundays, every Sunday, to be there for one of the boys on a sunday night before Monday classes.
It's funny the things you remember.
The last things you remember"

"Liz?""Lizzie?"
"Lizzie. Please! Open your eye!"
"Please! I can't do it...I can't not without you."

4 hours earlier:"Hey I miss you." Luke says on the phone.
"I know I know I'm a terrible friend for disappearing on everyone! But meet us at Burke's at 10 tonight okay?" I say excitedly. "Tell everyone else!" And with that I hang up.
I missed my boys that was for sure, but I had enjoyed my time with Alex. There was just one problem. I had no idea what we were doing. In this moment yes I didn't know where the hell Alex was driving me to, but Ina broader sense I had no idea what we were either.
I mean this weekend. God this weekend. It was insane, simply and completely and I couldn't help but let out a sigh thinking of it all. I mean who'd have though my that all that would happen. First I get a direct message from Tanner freaking Forten then I go on a impromptu road trip with Alex.
There was one thing for sure, I didn't know what the hell was going on with my life. But tonight would be good. I could feel it, a day with Alex and a night with all my favorite people.
My phone began buzzing annoyingly in my pocket and I saw ten messages from Carter.
"Can I help you?" I say answering her call.
"I'm bored"
I roll my eyes, "and I'm busy"
"Bitch"
"Thanks, meet us at ten at the diner. Everyone's going. And find something to do until then bitch." I laughed into my phone.
I could feel carter rolling her eyes at me from the other end of the phone and I laughed at her ridiculous behavior, before saying bye and giving my attention back to the oh so patient Alex."So are you going to tell me where we are going yet?" I ask giving him the most serious face I could manage at the moment.
"Nope." He say laughing at me and Turning up the music to drown out my asking.
"Rude!" I say over the music.
