I sit over on the bleachers and take my phone out. Typing in my oh so creative password and log into twitter.
Mindlessly scrolling through my newsfeed.
I go to the direct messages and decided to message Tanner Forten, the only band member who follows me.
'Hi there. Sitting watching my best friend play soccer, pretty boring though...hope you had a good day x'
I type quickly and press send. After more aimless scrolling I lock my phone setting it in my lap.
Watching the soccer practice continue. The wind picks up again and I tie my hair into a braid, hoping it won't continue to fly in my face.
All of the sudden my peaceful thinking was abruptly changed by my phone buzzing. Jumping at the sudden noise, my phone has a vibrate spasm.
Oh my dear what the?
I turn my phone over looking to the screen.
'New direct message from @trtanner
The hell?!
Wait...
WHAT?!?!
NO. This isn't happenings I'm dreaming.
Yeah there is a logical solution.
Yup. I'm dreaming.
My phone vibrates again. Pulling me back into reality.
Right. Real world. Kay what's going on...
I look to my screen once more, reading the words over again for the thousandth time.
'New direct message from @trtanner'
....am I having vision problems?
Metal issues?
"Miles!" I call out. He turns looking at me with a questioning look.
I wave him over.
"What does this say. I think I have something in my eyes." I say pointing to my phone.
"Um. You have a direct message from some one called a T.R Tanner..." He says scratching his head.
"Who is named T.R Tanner?" He asks confused.
Oh you deprived child.
"I'm not a child." Miles mutters.
Wait...oh guess I said that out loud.
"Yeah you did." Miles says.
Crap. I got to stop doing that.
"Sorry, I'm good. Kay thanks!" I say smiling.
He nods but gives me the look of, 'what in the hell are you on'
Oh well.
I unlock my phone, smiling like a fool.
Going straight to the message I read,
' What's the score? Days been long...'
I let out a bit of a squeal before responding,
'Hi there, just practice not a game. Bad day?'
I get a response in a matte of minutes making me smile and trying to contain myself!
Ek.
He says,
'Yeah having a shitty day.'
I frown.
