"BOYS PUT ELIZABETH DOWN AND GET TO PRACTICE! YOU TOO SPARKS!" Coach ken yells over at us. Luke automatically drops me on my butt."Ouch!" I shout at him.
Luke, James and Conner yell goodbye, but not before Conner gives me a big-bone-crushing-hug. Then they run towards the football field to a laughing coach ken. Coach waves at me and I smile and wave back.
"SEE YA K-MAN!" I yell across the field waving. He laughs at me and waves goodbye.
Alex smiles at me and takes my hand, dragging me towards the soccer field.
"LIZZIE!" Miles yells. I smile widely and let go of Alex's hand running towards Miles.
I run into his wide open arms, wrapping mine around his neck. He picks me up spinning around.
"Missed you LizzieBear." He whispers in my ear. His hot breathe tickling my neck.
"Missed you too!" I exclaim.
Miles' shagging black hair and deep brown eyes shinning. I smile remembering the first time we met.

***FLASHBACK***
"Hey Liz!" My older brother Tate calls out. I run down the stairs to see my half brother but acted more like my family then my mom or little half brother did.
Tate was my moms first kid. She had him at age 15 and his dad, George raised him due to winning custody. But he was a huge part of me and Carter's life and treated us more like family regardless of only sharing our not so kind mother."What's up?" I yell down the stairs acting all nonchalant.
"Um I'm home?!" He yells back.
I laugh at him. He'd been gone at college for awhile now and I ran down the stairs attacking him with a hug.
"Sup bro!" I say with a wide smile plastered to my face.
He rolls his eyes at me then motioned towards a dark haired boy.
"This is Miles, my best mate." He says proudly.
I smile at give Miles a tight hug. He's taken aback at first, before I feel him chuckle and wrap his arms around my small frame.
We pull apart and I smile again.
"Hello! I'm Elizabeth, but call me Lizzie...or any other odd name you can come up with." I say happily.
"Nice to meet yeah Lizzie. I'm Miles."
"No need for handshakes around here. We hug and a lot." I inform him setting a hand on my hip.
My brother laughs at me smiling proudly, "that's my sister for ya. Don't say I didn't warn yeah."
"YO CARTER GET YOU'RE LAZY ASS DOWN HERE!" I shout towards upstairs.
Carter comes walking down the stairs smiling and gives miles a tight hug as well before ditching to go see her boyfriend of the week...or day...or night for all I know.
**END OF FLASHBACK**

"You back for the season?" I ask Miles.
He smiles and nods, " yeah gotta babysit these freaks."
"Hey! We aren't that bad." Alex laughs walking up and slinging his arm around my waist.
I roll my eyes at Alex.
"Down boy." I whisper to him, standing on my tippy toes and leaving in so he would hear me.
Alex awkwardly drops his arm and looks to the ground with red cheeks.
Why the hell is he blushing?
"I-uh-got-to-uh go?" Alex says ending almost questioning himself. I give him weird look but he doesn't meet my eyes.
"Make good choices!" I yell after him in an annoying voice. I see a smile creep into his face, but his eyes still don't meet mine.
Someone's grumpy.
