Daniela: How old are you?
Shannai: I’m fifteen, soon sixteen :)
Daniela: Why did you join wattpad?
Shannai: Well, my friend introduced it to me, whilst we’re on a trip and I found myself on this website, almost every day reading books, so I thought I should make an account. Then I realised, I could write my own books…
Daniela: How long have you been here?
Shannai: Erm, my account says May 20th, so I guess since then.
Daniela: What story are you most proud of?
Shannai: Can I say all? Yeah, I am proud of every one of my stories.
Daniela: If you had to choose your favourite story on wattpad, what would it be?
Shannai: Ooh a hard one… I guess I’d have to say ‘raylor17’ books’ there is a first book, a sequel and a trilogy. Though my sequel is my favourite, I cried when I finished reading it.
Daniela: What would you rate wattpad out of 100? Why?
Shannai: 98, I would actually rate it 100 but Wattpad has consumed me, which isn’t good for me, I’ve become an online book worm, is that that even possible? Loool.
Daniela: What do you think could be added to wattpad to make it better?
Shannai: Uhm… I don’t know, I like it the way it is.
Daniela: What’s your favourite story not on wattpad?
Shannai: The Medusa Project, oh Gosh, I love it there are five books in total but my favourite one is , Hunted, I think it’s the fourth instalment… I’m not too sure.
Daniela: Who is your favourite author on all of wattpad?
Shannai: Uhm… I don’t know really, I like everyone, I learn new things from all the people I meet… not in a creepy way lol
Daniela: Who is your most faithful fan?
Shannai: Pooja11, I wouldn’t be here today, on this website if it wasn’t for her.
Daniela: Out of your books, who is your favourite character? Why?
Shannai: My main love protagonist in the sequel, Hidden Tears (My Other Half.. My Mate) her name is Skylar and I can relate to her the most.
Daniela: What is your most embarrassing moment, that you’re willing to share?
Shannai: I have so many; I don’t know where to start. I had a dream about Batman, uhm… well he kept telling me to shave my hair, or else I couldn’t become his sidekick… I genuinely thought I shaved off all my hair, when I woke up.
Daniela: What’s your best way to get rid of writers block?
Shannai: Sleeping, most of my book ideas, and other little things, come to me in my sleep.
Daniela: Are you a reader or a writer? Why?
Shannai: Both :D
Daniela: Where do you find your ideas?
Shannai: Well apart from sleeping, in my dreams, I try to focus on what’s happening around me and I take little things from there.
Daniela: How often do you upload your stories?
Shannai: Whenever I can really, I try to update at least two of my books in one week.
Daniela: Are there any stories you are working on at the moment, that are not published? If so, would you mind telling us something about them/it?
Shannai: Yeah… I am actually, it’s called Love, Lies & Marshmallows, I did publish it before but soon took it down, as I wanted to change it and work on it when I finished another one of my books, Well all I can say about it, is that it’s a twist, I’ve never written a book that touches a lot of aspects before. Typically it’s a romance book.
Daniela: Is there anything you would like to say in addition?
Shannai: I’d like to thank everyone, who has ever voted, commented, read one of my stories, I honestly cannot thank them enough, I lovee you! And I love my fans… I mean, followers, I’m still getting used to that minor change…
Daniela: Oh yeah. Followers. I kept saying fanned back but now I'm used to the followed back and stufff :)
