We have ... JackFinch!!! Hello!

Dantopaz: Why did you join Wattpad?

JackFinch: I was looking for a place to upload some of my work, posted a question on Yahoo! Answers, checked the neighbourhood out, and signed up.

Dantopaz: Ah, cool! What story are you most proud of?

JackFinch: 'The Other Side', definitely. I've got two stories up on Wattpad, but 'TOS' is a totally original idea, so I'm ever so proud of it.

Dantopaz: That's good! If you had to choose your favourite story on wattpad, what would it be?

JackFinch: Hmm... I guess InspireMe's '7:06p.m.' would be my favourite, with xxWhoAteMyCookiexx's 'High School Scandal' coming in second.

Dantopaz: Oh, I know those books. Quite good, huh? What would you rate wattpad out of 100? Why?

JackFinch: Uh... 85? It's a good place, and only has a few areas in which it could be improved upon.

Dantopaz: Same, probably. What do you think could be added to Wattpad to make it better?

JackFinch: The ability to link sequels, and the option to attach a second/third/fourth/whatever author to a story so collaborative stories don't need collaborative accounts.

Dantopaz: I agree! What’s your favourite story not on Wattpad?

JackFinch: 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde. Don't know why. I just love it.

Dantopaz: I haven't heard of it! Who is your favourite author on all of Wattpad?

JackFinch: I would have to say Pineapple2141. She was my first ever friend on here, and we've many a hilarious conversation since.

Dantopaz: Cool! Who is your most faithful fan?

JackFinch: dipsyz! She has commented on EVERY chapter of my story 'Scream 5', and not just off-handedly. I reply, she replies, it goes on, and on, and on, and on...

Dantopaz: WOW! Out of your book/books, who is your favourite character? J

ackFinch: Gabriel from 'The Other Side'. Due to his past life committing suicide and only his good energy being reincarnated, he's an absolute angel - wouldn't hurt a fly. But I'm thinking of making his character more shy in the rewrite, so it'll be more like "wouldn't say boo to a goose."

Dantopaz: That sounds interesting. What is your most embarrassing moment, that you’re willing to share?

JackFinch: Accidentally nearly kicking a microphone over while reading a prayer at my school's opening mass. But it was all good - one of the assistant principals told me, "It happens to the best of us."

Dantopaz: Don't worry, happened to me too ... and all my friends! What’s your best way to get rid of writer's block?

JackFinch: Whinge and procrastinate until I work up the sense of mind to grab my iPod and listen to some musicals for a while. Then, I'll usually find a way to work a good lyric into my chapters somehow.

Dantopaz: Awesome! Are you a reader or a writer? Why?

JackFinch: Both. I just am. They're prioritised equally.

Dantopaz: Same for me! Where do you find your ideas?

JackFinch: Like I said, original cast recordings of musicals - lyrics will work their way into my brain, and ideas will grow from there.

Dantopaz: Interesting! How often do you upload your stories?

JackFinch: Whenever I feel like, to be honest. I'll sit down every couple of days and tell myself, "C'mon, Jack! The people of Wattpad want- no, they NEED a chapter!" And then I can usually write one, two or maybe three in one quick burst.

Dantopaz: I have been laughing the whole time I was reading this - I still am. Are there any stories you are working on at the moment, that are not published? If so, would you mind telling us something about them/it?

JackFinch: Well, there are the rewrites of 'Scream 5' and 'The Other Side' that will be coming someday, as well as 'Another Side', a sequel to 'The Other Side', which is yet to have a definitive plot. Dantopaz: Is there anything you would like to say in addition?

JackFinch: Thanks for the interview, and the reviews. :)
