Daniela: Why did you join Wattpad?
Jaay: Because a friend kept mentioning it to me and it sounded like a good way to get my stories read by others.
Daniela: How long have you been here?
Jaay: Since January 4th this year (2012), I think. However I did have another account before that, that I forgot the password to.
Daniela: What story are you most proud of?
Jaay: Well, the story I'm most proud of is the one I wrote with my now deceased friend, it's a BoyLove called Kiss In The Dark that we wrote together not long before he passed away. I'm proud of it because I'm proud of him, and his talent for writing.
Daniela: That's so sweet :) If you had to choose your favourite story on Wattpad, what would it be?
Jaay: Ahh, there are so many wonderful stories to chose from. But if there's one thats really stuck in my mind it's Biting Jasper by Amyscence. It was a really great book to read and I spent almost two sleepless nights reading it. It really captivated my attention, and the wonderful characters and plot just had my emotions all over the place.
Daniela: What would you rate Wattpad out of 100? Why?
Jaay: 100 definitely! The reason being its such a great website that's not only accessible over the Internet but as an app too. It's a really great place to look for specific types of books and also enables members to interact with each other and share their love of reading and writing.
Daniela: What do you think could be added to Wattpad to make it better?
Jaay: I can't really think of anything to be honest.. Wattpad is just so great, I don't see many faults with it at all. I would be happy if they had a LGBT genre amongst the 'Vampire', 'Romance' ones etc.
Daniela: What’s your favourite story not on Wattpad?
Jaay: My favourite published book is Before I Die by Jenny Downham. It's a really sad story about a sixteen year old girl who's fighting cancer. She makes a sort of bucket list to do before she dies and the story is about her making the most of her time left and fulfilling her list.
Daniela: Who is your favourite author on all of Wattpad?
Jaay: I'm not sure as there are so many, but my favourite author at the moment is Immlaaarr. I've only read one of her books so far, and I'm just.. In love!
Daniela: Who is your most faithful fan?
Jaay: I don't really have one specific fan, but one or two fans are always sure to comment on any new chapters I put up and are always encouraging me to carry on (:
Daniela: Out of your books, who is your favourite character?
Jaay: Ahh, this is a tough one! I do love all of my characters dearly (except Jaden). However, I think my favourite is definitely Bailey from Breaking Cliché. Because although he's all rough acting he can be really sweet at times and he's the character that I'm closest to and am able to relate to most. Also, I love his pet pigmy hedgehog Delilah :3
Daniela: What is your most embarrassing moment, that you’re willing to share?
Jaay: Oh damn, there are so many! Okay, so I'm bisexual and the first time I ever started talking to my current boyfriend he showed me a picture of his younger sister who's around my age. I told him she was hot, and so the first time I ever came over to meet his family his sister walked in and he went 'Well, this is awkward' and when his mum asked why he said 'Cause Jaay fancies her' in front of his whole family. I was mortified, and I made a point of beating him with a pillow once we went back upstairs :')
Daniela: Oh dear... I love asking people about their embarrassing moments! What’s your best way to get rid of writers block?
Jaay: Find something that inspires you, for example when I don't feel like drawing I watch LA Ink which inspires me to practice. The same goes for when I get writers block, I just read how good others work is and I'm motivated to write and do better myself.
Daniela: That's a good idea :) Are you a reader or a writer? Why?
Jaay: I am both, I absolutely love to write (though I'm not able to do it all the time as I get writers block a lot) because it allows me the freedom to explore my imagination and I love reading because it teaches me new things and helps me improve my own writing.
Daniela: Where do you find your ideas?
Jaay: Mostly from things that happen around me, and the people that I meet in life.
Daniela: How often do you upload your stories?
Jaay: This varies as I have a really busy life and don't always have time to think up new chapters. But I do upload as often as I can, though sadly its not as often as I'd like it to be.
Daniela: Are there any stories you are working on at the moment, that are not published? If so, would you mind telling us something about them/it?
Jaay: There aren't any specific stories but there are plenty of ideas and notes. Although, I'm not going to start any new stories until I've finished with the two that I have on the go now.
Daniela: Is there anything you would like to say in addition?
