Daniela: What’s your name?
UchihaFairy: My name is Katherine.
Daniela: How old are you?
UchihaFairy: I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I will be graduating in June.
Daniela: Why did you join wattpad?
UchihaFairy: I actually discovered wattpad by accident one day when I goggled fan fictions of my favorite series ‘Naruto Shippuden’ and was so interested by it that I decided to join and write my own fanfictions
Daniela: How long have you been here?
UchihaFairy: I have been here almost a year now. I joined on June 29th of last year.
Daniela: What story are you most proud of?
UchihaFairy: that’s a hard one because I really only finished and have had time for my “The forbidden love” fan fiction so I guess that it would have to be that one. It’s the first fan fiction I ever wrote and my fans seem to really enjoy it. It’s only the first in a trilogy that I am writing so I hope to make the next two in the trilogy better than the last.
Daniela: If you had to choose your favourite story on wattpad, what would it be?
UchihaFairy: I really can’t choose just one because they are all so amazing. I usually only read naruto fan fictions and the one which introduced me to Wattpad was ‘Living Without a name’ by SneakingFox101. But some of the hilarious ones I have read are: ‘Random Akatsuki Days’ by Problems911.
Daniela: What would you rate wattpad out of 100? Why?
UchihaFairy: I would rate it 85/100 because overall it is fantastic except for the seemingly constant technological issues with the sign in and meebo chat. One of my fans/readers (I refuse to say followers) once couldn’t request a question for my ‘Ask the Anime Character’ book by commenting, thankfully I had a separate facebook set up specifically for Things like this ( the link to which in on my profile in the about me section).
Daniela: What do you think could be added to wattpad to make it better?
UchihaFairy: Change followers back to fans. Followers makes me feel like I’m being stalked or part of a cult. It’s creepy.
Daniela: Yeah I know. It's not instagram for gods sake or twitter. What’s your favourite story not on wattpad?
UchihaFairy: Before joining wattpad and becoming an anime fangirl, I was a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I could tell you who said or did what in which book where.
Daniela: Who is your favourite author on all of wattpad?
UchihaFairy: SnaeakingFox101, she is the reason I found all of you wonderful people.
Daniela: Who is your most faithful fan?
UchihaFairy: On wattpad it would have to be LlovesAnime. Outside though it would have to be my creative writing club because they are ALWAYS asking for me to bring the next chapter to my stories the following week.
Daniela: Out of your books, who is your favourite character? Why?
UchihaFairy: Out of the fan fictions I have thought up characters for no one can compare to Cassandra from the trilogy that begins with ‘The Forbidden Love’ because I am usually a goody good girl and she is the rebel that I wish I could be at times but still believably clumsy.
Daniela: What is your most embarrassing moment, that you’re willing to share?
UchihaFairy: When my sister discovered my fan fictions because my fan fictions were and still are, my sanctuary away from the stresses of school and home.
Daniela: What’s your best way to get rid of writers block?
UchihaFairy: this happens to me a lot and my one friend said it’s because I’m trying to write like seven stories at once but usually it will pass in a matter of days.
Daniela: Are you a reader or a writer? Why?
UchihaFairy: I’m a little of both. Mostly a writer though because normally I don’t read much unless it’s either suspenseful or hilarious.
Daniela: Where do you find your ideas?
UchihaFairy: Mostly whatever random idea pops into my head. My creative writing club gives some input. Emotions I am feeling at the time I write the first draft of a chapter have a lot to do with it( I sometimes will right like 3 rough drafts). Also some events in my stories come from things that I have dreamt happened to me.
Daniela: How often do you upload your stories?
UchihaFairy: I try to update as frequently as possible, which is why I made 2 books based upon requests. Its just I’m a senior, I have like 5 mandatory Advance Placement classes and tons of homework so I don’t get to update as often as I would like to.
Daniela: Are there any stories you are working on at the moment, that are not published? If so, would you mind telling us something about them/it?
UchihaFairy: like 4 or 5. In creative writing club I am working on “The Debt of Blood”, it is the third and final book in my fan fiction trilogy which begins with “The Forbidden Love” (completed) and continues with “Ties of Love & War”(in progress on wattpad). In this book it will be mostly back story leading up until ‘Forbidden Love’ and then picking up where ‘ties of love & war’ leaves off as she goes to confront the demon who framed her for her best friends murder when she was 7 years old. This book is going to explain why she makes the choices that she does in the other two. My next one will be a fan fiction in which The main character is kidnapped from the real world and taken into the anime world.
Daniela: Is there anything you would like to say in addition?
UchihaFairy: I want to send a shout out to my creative writing friends ‘: “Lavendertail, CatherineEwing, and MellyBear67. Y’all are awesome friends and gotta keep in touch with me through wattpad after I graduate this year. Keep the club’s mind outta the gutter for me.”
