AN: Hello, dear readers. Finally back and excited to write again. Can you believe it? All thanks to the comment I got on the story, wishing that I would update. How could I say no? I had begun but was stuck. So yeah, that made me unstuck. But have fun reading. Hope you like it. Please comment on what you think afterwards.

Crissy's p.o.v.

Varis: 100 life points.

Playmaker: 300 life points.

I was staring as Varis finished his last move. Using his dragon's effect, he had just destroyed 'Decode Talker' and intended to go for the game. Topologic Bomber Dragon, when destroying a monster in battle, could deal effect damage equal to the monster it just destroyed. That meant Playmaker would take 2300 points of damage, which was much more than the life points he had now.

"Playmaker is done for!" I could hear Ghost girl comment behind me.

"No! I refuse to believe that!" I declared stubbornly.

As luck would have it, Yusaku had a trap ready called 'Link Restart'. Since an effect that dealt damage was activated, he could use Link's restart to negate that effect. But that was not all. He could also banish Link Restart from his grave to summon a link monster. Like his Decode Talker, who had just been destroyed. I sighed in relief inside. Yusaku could stick around for another turn.

"Well, now, I theoretically should be impressed that you found a way to survive this turn, Playmaker, but if you were truly any good, you shouldn't be losing to begin with," I could hear Varis comment.

It almost sounded like he didn't want to defeat Playmaker just yet. Was this a test? He continued: "All you've done is delay your demise, and 'Dragonoid generator' will guarantee it." I looked in horror as his Continuous spell card activated, giving Playmaker a Dragonoid token. It had 0 att and def points and was, of course, summoned in attack mode. But I doubt Varis intended to use it for attacking purposes. Yusaku was thinking the same thing.

"Which you will then use against me to deal damage," Playmaker concluded. The way Varis smirked in that moment just confirmed it.

"It is my turn. I draw!" Playmaker shouted and did just that.

"Get your act together, Playmaker," I could hear Ai hiss at him. "If I had sweat glands, I would be swarmed in A.I. juice by now." Which I felt was very disturbing, to say the least. Playmaker agreed. Sometimes I was not so happy about installing a speaker function in Playmaker's duel disk. Ai continued: "Face the facts, you are backed into a corner, but you still got a way out..."

"By using my skill," Playmaker finished.

"Exactly, but even that might not be enough unless I can muster the strength to create the biggest data storm that blows through Link Vrains in generations," Ai said.

"So, I'll need to hope that you'll come through. That is not good," Playmaker commented, which only made Ai sneer at him.

"Well, I do better than hope. I calculate!" he replied. "Cyberse. Generate new data material!"

Then Ai sparked with energy. He sent up an energy beam into the sky, creating the biggest data storm I had ever seen. Or been surfing on. Ghost girl and I had to cling to the duel board or we would be swept away. However, at that moment, my eyes glanced at Varis, who, surprisingly enough, was smirking. It was like he had anticipated that Ai and Playmaker would do this. It did not help that in the background, I noticed a strange light blinking in the sky. It was almost like it was...
