"Do I look pretty now Mom?" Your 16-yr. old daughter asked.
"Hyuna, when did you become ugly?" You asked in reply.
"Mom, I'm serious."
"Well I'm serious too." You said as you tried to hide your smile.
"You don't even need to apply make up. If your date doesn't see that and tells you otherwise, it's his fault, not yours, okay?" You said trying to cheer her up.
"Thanks mom." Hyuna smiled. She was supposed to have a date with a certain guy.
"Besides, how can you not be pretty? You have my genes." You joked.
"And my genes too." Baekhyun suddenly interrupted as he entered Hyuna's bedroom.
"Oh shut up Baek, so you're telling us you're pretty too?" You teased him as Hyuna laughed.
"No! I was supposed to say I am handsome."
"Oh really?" You said with sarcasm as you rolled your eyes heavenwards.
"Ofcourse, I remembered the time when I caught you drooling as you sta-"
You cut him off with a kiss, you don't want to remember the time you became head-over-heels with this guy. XD
Hyuna and Baekhyun just laughed. Your conversation lasted for a few minutes until someone rang the doorbell.
"Mom, Dad. I think he's here." Hyuna said full of excitement.
Just when you are about to leave the room, Baekhyun suddenly stopped Hyuna.
"Yes Dad?"
"Be careful okay? You don't know him that much."
"Yes Dad. I will be careful. And don't worry, he's a nice guy." Hyuna assured Baekhyun. It was really nice to see this side of Baekhyun. He really is a Dad.
"Okay. But don't be so sure. Be sure to be home before 7:00. Send us a message every 30 minutes okay? Wait, make that 15 minutes, so that we'll know where you are going. Don't let him starve you okay? And be sure to-"
"Baek..." You giggled.
"Yes Yeobo?"
"Don't be too paranoid. You talk as if Hyuna is still a five year old. Don't worry, Hyuna is responsible enough. Am I right Hyuna?"
"Yes mom. Don't worry about me guys. And if ever he does something wrong, I'll make sure to kick him..."

You all laughed with Baekhyun's comment.
*ding dong*
"Oh we almost forgot about your visitor." You said as you all went outside the room.
When you arrived at the front gate, you saw a handsome young man all dressed up like a gentleman.
I guess my daughter is in good hands afterall. You thought to yourself.
You had a chit chat with the guy. But what surprised you was that Baekhyun wasn't talking much. He just kept smiling.
After a few minutes.
"Take care of our daughter Tristan."
"Yes I will."
When the car left you turned to look at Baekhyun.
"Now what happened to you?"
"What?" Baekhyun asked curiously.
"I did all the talking. Usually you would ask alot of questions which would scare all her suitors. But suprisingly you never did that awhile ago." Now it was your turn to look at him with curiosity.
"Oh that." He said as you turned to walk inside the house.

But, when I saw how he looked at Hyuna...
I saw his sincerity.
I immediately knew he was a good man."
"Woah, you can tell by just that?" You said quite amazed.
