I live in a world where there is this thing they called "boundary line". Well, this line has been there ever since I could remember.
What it separates?
Well... just two different worlds.
...The world of faries and the world of humans.
It has maintained peace throughout the years. There has been no war between these two worlds. Fairies are told not to interfere with the humans, and humans to Fairies.
Let's just say that everything has been done as what the rule states...
...until one day...
my path has crossed with that of a human. Yes, I am a fairy and not just an ordinary fairy but the princess of our kind.
I would always sneak out of the palace to wonder through the woods, near the boundary line. No one ever noticed that, no one has ever captured me breaking the rules that my great grand parents have made...
I would stay in the woods for awhile... looking past that line, hoping to see a glimpse of the other world.
I've always wondered how it feels like to be a human. I wanted to be one, even for a day. But, sometimes I'm glad I'm me. Humans are said to be very greedy. Their evil. They started the war between these two worlds and my family has been trying to maintain peace and order...
...as years passed, humans forgot about the war... they lived as if nothing happened. They even forgot about our existence, but we, the fairies, don't.
We can still remember every bit of the war... that is why everyone has been grateful for having this "boundary line"...
everyone but me, that is.
For the past years of wondering in the woods near the boundary line, I've been able to see the world of humans up close... I've always love to venture out of my world, but because of that stupid line, I have no freedom.
Curiosity has always been in my nerves... I've always wanted to know what lies ahead... What do these humans look like upclose? I wanted to step out of that line to see one....
Well, not until...
"Guys? Hey...
This is'nt fun anymore...
Where are you?"
...for the first time in years, I saw a human wander through the woods. I've never saw one here before.
No human has dared to step in the woods because back in their world, it was rumored that this place is full of scary creatures.
Tsk. Liar.
The only creatures that live in this woods is a bunch of squirrels... and birds... -_-
"S-stop fooling around...
CHEN!!! T-this is all your fault!"
Who's Chen?
Poor guy... I think he's lost...
...scared of the lies his own kind has made up... I can't blame him though... it's nighttime... a lot of people are afraid of the dark.
I sat on a branch and watched as he shivered while walking, looking for his companions, I guess.
He can't see me from here. Fairies are tiny... but we can transform, and grow big like them, but for the meantime, I'll stay in this form.
"Whoa!" I almost laughed when he tripped over a tiny rock. Tsk. Humans can be sooooo clumsy at times.
