Lex's pov

"Ugh finally!" I say zip up my suitcase. I check the time and it's about 7pm.

Did I really take that long?

Eh who cares, I'm so hungry imma go make myself some food.

I walk to the kitchen and decide to make pasta.

When I'm done, I put it in a bowl and go to the living room to watch spongebob because I'm forever gonna love that show.

I sit there enjoying myself till I finish my food and the episode ends.

I go into the kitchen once again and put my bowl in the dishwasher and go back up to my room.

It's only 8:30 now so it's not too late.

Why not watch Netflix!

Seriously I think watching Netflix is all I ever do I need to start being more social but who's gonna stop me!

Before I watch a movie I take my makeup off and brush my teeth and change into sweatpants and a v neck shirt.

When I'm done I hop back into my bed and begin looking through what movie to watch. I stop when I see Jurassic world.

Oh fuck yeah I love nick robinson in that movie.

I click play and keep my eyes on the screen.

--three hours later--

I yawn and feel my eyelids getting heavy. I guess I should go to sleep I mean it's a big day tomorrow so I should get some rest.

I turn off Netflix and the lights and go into a deep sleep in less than 5 minutes.

--next morning--

"Wake up! Lex! Wake up! We are leaving in one hour to the airport!" I hear my dad say from outside my room.

"I'm up I'm up!"I say weakly and stand up to stretch.

I go into the shower then brush my teeth when I'm done taking the shower. I put on black high waisted pants from AA and a baby blue tank top. I do my makeup and then go on to do my hair.

When I'm done I slip on my white Adidas shoes and also swing a black hoodie over my shoulder. Just in case it gets cold. I grab my suitcase and head downstairs.

I see Dakota ready and talking with my mum. They are laughing and smiling. What can he possibly be saying to her?

I check the time and we leave in three more minutes.

I go to the living room and sit on one of the couches while going on my phone letting time pass.

"It's time guys lets go!" My mum says.

I get up and drag my suitcase to the front door. I put it into the car and hop into the back seat. I see Dakota sitting across from me and I flash a smile at him. He does it back and looks out the window.

Gosh he's cute.

My dad takes the drivers seat and my mum sits in the passenger seat. They turn on the radio and they have a little chat while me and dakota are silent in the backseats.

"So what do you wanna do when we get to Hawaii?" Dakota says turning his attention to me.

"I don't know I'll probably spend some time in the beach you know?" I say.

"Yeah I was thinking about the same thing. Do you know how to surf?"

"No actually."

"Really? I can teach you if you want."

"How do you know how to surf dakota it's kinda hard for me to believe that." I giggle.

"I can surf I swear!" He chuckles.

"Yeah okay!" I say sarcastically.

We arrive to the airport then soon enough get our plane tickets and next thing you know we are waiting for the plane to board.

"What seats did you guys get?" I ask my parents and Dakota.

"Me and your dad got row  14"

"I got row 17" dakota says.

"You're with me yay!" I say with a smile on my face.

He smiles back and we continue to wait for the plane.

30 minutes pass till we finally hear our plane being called.

"Guys that's us!" I say.

We all get up and walk to the front. After we hand over our tickets to the lady we start going over to the plane.

We keep walking and walking till we get into the plane and my parents take their seats in their row and I take my seat at my row.

Dakota takes the window seat and I take the seat next to him, leaving me on the edge of the row.

I look around and see the last person I was expecting to see.
