Chapter 2

Lex's pov

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I say.

"My parents forced me to go meet at least one of the neighbors." He says in a harsh tone.

"Then why won't you g-"

"HEY LEX" Tae says.

"HEY TAE COME IN" I say ignoring the boy.

"Lex why won't you let the boy in too?" She says.

"Because he-"

"Come on kid come in!" She says pulling the boy into my house going in the living room.

I stay at the door and say "last time I checked this was my house." I say pissed.

I close the door and walk over to them and sit down on one of the couches.

"So what's brings you here kid?" Tae says.

"Um I just moved here from New Hampshire and my parents made me meet at least one of the neighbors so here I am." He says.

"I'm Tae, and this is Alexa but you can call her lex."

"I'm Dakota."

"So do you know where your starting school at?"

"My parents told me I'm going to Roseville highschool." He says. Oh fuck that's my school.

"Oh cool we go there!" Tae says.

"Awesome!" He says making it look like he cares.

Tae and Dakota keep talking and I end up falling asleep on the couch without them even noticing.

"Lex,lex, wake up!" I hear.

"5 more minutes mom please!"

"It's Dakota wake up!"

I slowly shift over and open my eyes.

"What? And where's Tae?" I say looking around.

"She went to the restroom." He says.

"Then why are you waking me up?"

"Tae told me to wake you up while she goes so that she can tell us something."

I groan and sit up trying to keep my eyes open.

Tae comes walking back and sits down.

"Okay now that you're awake I wanted to say that Brenda texted me and said that she's having a party at her house tomorrow."

"And she told me I can bring friends, so do you wanna come Dakota? You can meet some of the people from school?"

"Yeah sure!"

"Okay great! I have to get going now so bye guys!"

"NO DONT LEAVE ME HERE WITH HIM."

"I have to go lex sorry!"

As soon as she leaves I feel like taking a nap again.

"I'm gonna go to I don't wanna be here with you." He says.

"What did I even do to you you're the one who made me trip!"

"That wasn't my fault I didn't know you were there."

"Anyways can you hook me up with some hot girls" he says smirking.

"Hell no they probably won't even like you."

"Everyone likes me."

"Not everyone!" I say getting up

He gets up fast and pushes me against the wall.

"Everyone likes me. I mean just look at me, I know you don't think I'm ugly."

Our faces were super close and I will admit that he is attractive. Those soft brown eyes, perfect hair, perfect smile.
Wait what am I saying I don't like this jerk.

"Nah I'm pretty sure your ugly"

I try to move away but he grabs onto my waist.

"You're not going anywhere before you admit that you like me."

"Dakota, lying is a sin and plus, I will never like you you're annoying, rude, and a jerk."

"Your gonna regret saying that when I get you in bed."

I finally get out of his grip and drag him to the door.

"You're such a fuck boy Dakota"

"Maybe I am."

I open the door and push him out.

"Before I go can I have-"

"Nope!" I say slamming the door on his face.

I go upstairs to my room and decide to watch movies for the rest of the day. It's only 5pm and I don't feel like doing anything today.

I watch movies after movies and stop and wash out my makeup and change into comfy clothes and jump into bed and fall asleep.

All I think about is how the girls at my school are going to react when Dakota gets there. They're all gonna be falling for him and he's gonna play them all. I'm not warning them. I'm only gonna warn Tae because she's the only one who hasn't turned her back on me.
