Chapter 21

I JUST READ A FANFIC THAT HAD ME CRYING FOR MOST OF THE CHAPTERS BUT THE WRITER HASNT UPDATED SINCE 2013 IM GONNA GO CRY IN A CORNER AND I PROMISE IM NOT GONNA LEAVE YOU GUY HANGING FOR THAT LONG AHAHAH

Lex's pov

I check the time on my phone and I have about 30 minutes till my parents come back home. I need to get going before they think something happened.

"Christian, I gotta go back home do you wanna walk me or something?" I say putting my phone back in my pocket.

"Yeah let's go." He says as he leaves the rest of the peanuts on the floor for the squirrels.

We start walking and I snap a few pictures with him before we both separate to our houses.

Some came out decent and others came out looking like we're total weirdos.

I walked into my house when Christian left walking to his house.

My parents aren't home yet so I quickly go upstairs and decide to clean my room since I haven't cleaned it up in a while.

"Lex! Me and your dad have something to tell you!" My mom says from downstairs.

"I'll be right there!" I say as I look around and admire how my room looks now.

I already know it's gonna get messy again by next week smh.

Walking out of my room onto the stairs I see my parents arguing about something.

"Mom. Dad. What's going on?"

"We have something to tell you. Come to the living room with us."

I make my way down to the living room and sit on one of the couches.

"You see, I got offered a promotion a few weeks ago Lex and-"

"THATS AMAZING DAD BUT ARE WE STILL GONNA SEE YOU?!"

"Actually you'll see me everyday."

"What do you mean?"

"We are moving to London for two years!" He says with a smile on his face.

I say quite and think about everything. What about Tae? What about Haley? What about Dakota? I can't leave them just like that. We've been through so much together and I don't want to move away?

"But what about Tae and Haley?"

"I'm sure they're understand and will still be there for you when you come back." My mom says.

"I guess your right. When do we leave?"

"We leave tomorrow..."

"WHAT?!? YOU HAD ALL THIS TIME AND NOW YOURE TELLING ME THIS? HOW AM I GONNA TELL IT TO MY FRIENDS? I SHOULDVE TOLD THEM SOONER. WE COULDVE SPENT TIME TOGETHER BEFORE I WOULD LEAVE!"

"Calm down lex. It's all gonna be okay. Those two years would go by fast. You'll be back home in no time." My dad says.

"Yeah. You're right."

"Go tell your friends now we have to leave in the morning." My mom said to me.

"Alright." I get up and take out my phone to call Tae, Haley, Bryce, Christian, and Dakota.

I called them one by one and told them to meet me at the Starbucks that's two blocks down.

I get my stuff and show up first and patiently wait for the rest. Dakota came in afterwards, then Tae, then Haley, next was Christian, and finally Bryce came in.

We all sat at this big table.

"Alright guys so I have big news to tell you. So my dad got a promotion a few days ago and he also got a house at London. And me and my family will be moving to there for two years tomorrow morning. Im sorry I had to tell you guys this late I didn't know about it till just a few minutes ago." I say while my eyes start to swell up.

"Are you kidding me? No you can't leave. I spent so much time growing feelings for you and this is what happens? Right when everything is fixed and I get to hang out with a beautiful girl, she has to leave?....Lex please don't leave me I wanna be with you I don't want to wait a whole two years till your back." Dakota says. Everyone is jawdroped by what he just said. We never knew he had that in him. He seems like such a tough guy but when you get under his skin, he's not too bad.

Haley tries to comfort him and he has a few tears coming out from his eyes.

Now I'm gonna cry more than already just by seeing him like that.

"We are gonna miss you so much you don't understand. I've had so many good times with you and I will always be here for you. When you come back, I'll be right by your side again. I promise." Tae says as she goes in to hug me. I hug her back.

"I'm gonna be right here too when you come back lex. I'm not gonna forget about you. Your such an amazing girl and I'm glad we became friends. I'm gonna miss you so much." Bryce says as he gets up from his chairs and walks over to hug me.

"I know I haven't known you for long but I already know that you are absolutely amazing and beautiful inside out. I wish we could've hanged out more often so that I can't get to know you better. I'm gonna certainly miss you. And I'll be right her as well as the others when you come back home." Christian says.

He comes to hug me too. After a few minutes they all let go. I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends by my side. Of course I'm gonna miss them all. I hope they don't forget about me.

We all sit there for a bit more till we decide to say our goodbyes. They're planning on being with me at the airport tomorrow morning.

But there's something about Dakota that's odd. He doesn't seem like himself at this moment. And it's making me worry.
