Lex's pov

"Dakota your such a pussy he literally just jumped out of the closet and your acting like you just saw a demon!" I say as I hit him with one of my pillows.

We decided to watch some movies and hang out and Dakota is getting more scared at a movie than I am.

"But the way he jumped out startled me!" He says and hits me back with one of my pillows.

I smack him again with the pillow and looks like we just started a pillow fight.

"HAH I GOT YOU GOOD THIS TIME!" I say.

"Lex! Dakota! Come downstairs please!" I hear my mom say.

Shit what did we do now

Dakota gives me a weird look and I give it back.

We slowly walk downstairs and sit down on a couch near my parents.

"So me and your father decided to why not go on a vacation. But first we wanted to bring you and a friend. And we saw how well you and Dakota there got along so, Dakota, you are invited to come with us to Hawaii in a week." My mum says.

"Thank you so much I appreciate it a lot oh my god I'm so excited!" Dakota smiles widely.

"How long are we gonna stay there!" I say with a smile on my face.

"We were thinking about two months." My dad says.

"Great!" I say.

"Okay we'll be upstairs watching tv if you need anything!" My parents say while getting up off of the couch.

"Got it!" Me and Dakota say.

"LEX WE'RE GONNA GO TO HAWAII FOR TWO MONTHS!" Dakota says.

"I KNOW ITS GONNA BE SO FUN!"

Dakota has a big smile on his face and stares at a wall.

"What are you thinking about?"

"How I'm going to spend two months at paradise (I gave you guys a hint in the last chapter with the letters like these. (-: ) with a beautiful girl with an amazing personality and her terrific parents" he smiles widely and turns his head to me.

I smile at him and we stay like that for a few seconds. I see him start to lean in and I do too. Our lips are centimeters away from each other.

"I can't do this" I say.

"What why?" Dakota says.

"It's too soon. Sorry but maybe when things actually start to feel normal."

He sighs and looks down at his feet.

I pick his chin up with my finger and make him look at me.

"Like at Hawaii." I wink and get up to walk to the kitchen.

"Damnit lex your such a tease." He says as he follows me to the kitchen.

I'm leaning against the kitchen counter and scrolling through Twitter.

I hear steps and feel a body around mine and hands on my waist.

"What about right now?" Dakota whispers in my ear gripping onto my waist.

"Hmmm"

He wraps his arms around me and hugs me from behind.

I turn around and face him. I'm looking up at his plumb pink lips and he's looking down at me.

"At Hawaii." I say and get out of his grip.

He stands there and smirks at me from the kitchen counter.

He suddenly changes his facial expression.

"What time is it?" He asks.

I take out my phone and check the time.

"8:41 pm"

"Wow we we're here for a long time, I gotta go back home my mom is making dinner." He says walking to the door.

He opens it and walks out and stands facing me.

"Well, I'll see you later right?" I say.

"Right." He says with a smile.

"Goodnight Dakota."

"Goodnight gorgeous."

He smirks and watches as my cheeks turn a light red.

I smile and slowly close the door as he walks away.
