When I woke up the next day I decided to get some breakfast in the hotel. Arden was still passed out in the bed next to me, probably still tired from me keeping her up the night before. I told everything that happened and she was just as stumped as I was.

I sat down at a table by myself with a pathetic bowl of Cheerios.
Someone sat down right across from me. It was Caspar.
"What happened?" He asked me.
"What do you mean?" I'm sure I already knew what he was asking.
"When I went back Oli was was super pissed. Did you ask him about the girlfriend thing?" I didn't really want to talk about it but Caspar is one of those people who you just instantly feel like you can trust. So I told him everything that happened. Even back to everything that happened in London.
"Damn. Well there has been times where girls have pretended to like Oli just to get to Joe so sometimes things in that area can be touchy for him. Do you actually like him?" He asked me. He took a sip of his orange juice.
"Yah I really do. He isn't some rebound. We actually have a connection. I just feel like my heart is so light around him ya know?" I did my best to explain the unexplainable feeling of when I'm with him.
"Yah I get what you mean. Why don't you just go talk to him."
"I don't know Casp. Things with me and him have been so back and forth. Maybe it's not meant to be." I sighed and leaned back in the chair.
"If you don't talk to him I will." He said half joking but he seemed kind of serious.
"Yah okay Caspar." I responded, not bothering to take him seriously.

Vidcon was successful otherwise. I know Arden had a great time.
We returned home for what I was hoping would be a while. It was nice to just stay in one place.
The next day I started work and it was actually very fun. Everyone was super nice to me and I was learning so much. On the way home from my first day I stopped by Starbucks to grab Arden and I frappecinos. I hadn't heard much of anything from Oli, or Caspar for that matter. Caspar told me they were staying in LA for an extra week after Vidcon and that's all I knew.
I checked my phone for probably the 20th time in the past five minutes.
"I have a grande iced coffee for Mark." the barista shouted into the cafe. Then the first and last person I wanted to see at that moment grabbed a coffee from the counter. He turned around and made eye contact with me. His expression resembled a deer in the headlights. He slowly made his way over to me. When he reached me he managed to smile.
"Hey." He said.
"Hey Mark."
