firstly i wanted to say that i'm in total shock about the fact that scrub caps has reached over one million reads and for that i wanted to thank you all SO much!!! i appreciate every single one of you who reads this book, your support truly means the world to me :)
in honour of this, over many manymany months i've been editing act one and act two of scrub caps! i will probably eventually do act three!! i was really struggling with writing the new chapters because i wasn't really happy with some of the ways i wrote a few of the storylines so i really wanted to rewrite that and also fill some plot holes i've just left with a construction sign and never revisited! i want to do this story (and my angel, aliya levine) justice!
at the end of my little note, there's a list of scrub caps changes and the scenes that i've added in (two of my fave jaliya moments were the product of this edit!!)
i've also removed the trent and april chapter and the scenes that were in that one, i've added into the original timeline :))

quick note! in september 2023 (it's now december 2025) i read love, theoretically by ali hazelwood and in the barnes and noble edition of her book (which i don't have as i'm from the uk, very upsetting, i won't be able to be consoled) she did a section called "some people pair wine with cheese, i pair taylor swift songs with chapters in my book" so naturally i've decided to do the same because i am a sheep and in ali hazelwood and taylor swift we trust
also! chapters with new scenes will have a: NEW SCENE ALERT! and chapters with new titles will have a: NEW CHAPTER TITLE ALERT!
