Clara Back model led us away from the fight check-in desk and into a small room at the back of the airport. The room had small lockers and suitcases everywhere. It had peeling paint among the walls and cracked grey tiles lining the floor.

"Well, I'm Pierre and if you lot could leave your bags here and partner up. Ill give you all a list of jobs." Clara giggled when Pierre said his name. Pierre has greased back hair and was skinny and had remnants of a beard on his chin. Erica and Lucy partnered up along with Clara and Katie followed by Drake, Trix, Lissa and Amanda and Austin joined them. Colin looked around and Viola was left. He moved toward her winking at Lissa and Giving a sly smile towards Lucy who batted her eyelashes.

Pierra scribbled down a few notes and ripped his paper up handing each pair a note. Pierre stopped in front of Colin and Viola. Despite what Clara thought Colin thought this guy had a rather rat-like nose. Colin stared at him as they waited for their note. Eventually Pierre dropped it into Viola's small hands and gave Colin a final look and whispered. "Good Luck"

Pierre walked off back to his post Colin imagined. The others broke out into chatter.

"We get money! Sweet!" Drake said to Trix. Trix shook her head and scowled. Amanda snuck her head over to look at their list.

"Haha, have fun with retailing the bathrooms." Amanda laughed jokingly along with Lissa. Drake's face immediately dropped. Trix stomped off and grabbed Drake. "Lets just get this over with." she said.

The rest of the pairs filed out of the locker room leaving their carry-on bags behind them. Viola looked at Colin at together they inspected their list.

1. Repaint the airplane steps

2. Remove all large stones from runway.

Come back once finished. $55 each once the jobs are done.

Colin thought of the possible outcomes of two kids squashed by a plane on a runway. The odds were higher than he had hoped. Viola sighed.

"We better get to it then. I guess the paint will be near the steps." Viola started walking out of the room with a skip in her step.

Colin ran after her. They walked outside onto the runway and the wind was waling. Viola's hair was flying everywhere and Colin messy hair had invented a new type of messy.

A large set of steps of wheels not to far from the airport. The steps were around 5 m in height and and two large tins of paint, complete with brushes were waiting for Viola and Colin on the first step.

"White and desolate blue. Take your choice." Viola smiled holding out a paintbrush. Colin picked the blue and Viola grabbed the white. They were instructed to paint the steps dark blue with two parallel white lines.

The sun blared upon them and Colin rolled his t-shirt sleeves and Viola laughed. Colin strutted up each step and painted each step at a time, As he painted he moved his feet like he was a professional dancer. As he went to second coat the step he moon-walked and viola skipped along the side of the stes and painted white lines. She skipped and whistled. They were getting into a rhythm.

By the time they were done they had made their own dance routine and Colin had white and blue specks though his messy hair. To get even Colin sprayed white paint across Viola's shirt and she streaked back. at the end of it their shirts had a new color and they wore smiles upon their face.

They moved the step into the side of the airport and wrote a sign for the steps.

Be aware of a superb paint job and presence of an elaborate dance number

Colin wrote. Viola pushed him and ran towards the runway for their next job.

Colin ran after her and they were dead smack in the middle of a runway. Colin looked into the clouds.

"Do you think a plane could come as we're here and run us over?" Colin asked putting his hand to his head and looking for any sign of possible ascending doom.

"Well if there is, well leg it" Viola started searching the concrete for large rocks.Colin ignored his feeling and they both bent down and picked up rocks and threw them to the grass. After an hour they gave up and sat down.

"Any progress with Lucy and Lissa? Viola asked leaning her head towards the sun. her orange tank top slid over her shoulders. Her brown hair once again in a ponytail hung loosely against her back.

"Somewhat. I think i'll let which ever one know in around three days. Ill check with you first though." Colin ruffled his hands through his dark hair returning it to its former state.

"You're not ready for that secret yet?" Viola asked leaning over towards Colin with a glint in her eye.

"No, alright then. Favorite animal ever?" Viola asked admitting defeat for now. Colin thanked her mentally.

"hmm. That's a tough one. I would have to say Iguana." Colin turned his head toward her. Viola looked over and smiled at his answer. She stared at the clouds for a few minutes before answering.

"Dinosaurs. Because they're cool." Viola announced and fell back on to the warm gravel. Colin joined her and replied; "Dinosaurs are the new Dragons"

All of a sudden a loud thunder-like noise came from the skies. Colin's feeling resurfaced and Viola and Colin looked toward the sky. A large plane was spreading its wings and preparing for landing and it was making a beeline for the very runway they were on. In a quick flash they both sat up and got to their feet. Viola gave Colin a worried expression as the plane closed in.

They bolted along the runway back to the airport. The plane was descending upon them quickly and the noise became deafening in their ears. A million thoughts aced through Colin heads. All of Colin thoughts diminished and Colin turned around. The plane's wheels had touched the ground and the plane was heading straight for them at the speed of a light.

"Run" Colin yelled at Viola. He hoped it wasn't too late...
