Hope's POV

The next day, I met up with Grace in the Great Hall for breakfast. The good thing was that Harry wasn't trailing behind Grace, so I had some time before he would come to spend time with her. After all, she still has a chance of being my friend, right now we're close acquaintances.

"Hiya!" Grace greeted me, as we entered the Great Hall for Dumbledore's announcements.

"Hey, Grace" I replied, glumly.

"How was your sleep last night?" I asked her, as we walked inside and sat down at our house tables.

"Very interesting" Grace said.

"How?"

"I was up the whole night talking to someone."

"Who, Grace? Who?" I questioned. I was really getting curious what Grace does when I'm not there.

"Well, first of all, I could hear you sobbing last night." She raised an eyebrow. Yeah I cried myself to sleep because Harry and you were in the common room together and there are many possible reasons why.

"Sorry, it's becoming a... habit" I shrugged.

"I wasn't actually talking, Hope. I was inside someone's mind." Wait... What?!?! Hold on! She never told me this!

"Why didn't you tell me!" I hissed at her, she flinched surprised at my outburst.

"I thought I did! I'm sorry" Grace responded, I looked to the doors and saw Harry coming, my cheeks burning a light pink, I moved around the table so I could be across from Grace. Harry sat down next to Grace and hugged her, I just stared at them, my stomach had butterflies and my heart breaking partially. I waited for Harry to let Grace go, so I could talk to Grace more.

"Hi Hope" I flinched, and I looked to the right, Harry was staring at me his forest green eyes staring into my blue ones.

"H-hi Harry" I said, blushing and looking down at my golden plate. Dumbledore said the morning announcements and I awaited the food.

"Hope, do you want to hang out with me and Harry later at the Black Lake?" Grace asked, I stopped reaching for the bacon and looked at her, then Harry. Harry's eyes hopeful.

"Uh... Sure, I guess" I said. Grace and Harry grinned at the sound of it. Now, I have to spend my whole afternoon with the lovebirds again, instead of doing something worthwhile. I smiled back, then when they turned around, my smile faded. I knew that half of my smiles are fake.

After breakfast, we had our first class. Charms. Today, Professor Flitwick was teaching us levitation, to make objects fly. Grace was partnered up with Harry, and I was left in a trio with this girl named: Mikayla, and Seamus Finnigan.

I watched Grace and Harry every moment, which I could.

"Now, we're going to learn today, how to make objects fly. Just remember the proper use of our wand. Swish and Flick" our professor told us. He made us practice a little swishing and flicking.

"Now repeat after me Wingardium Leviosa" Professor Flitwick told us.

"Wingardium Leviosa" we repeated all together. Then, we practiced the spell on a feather. I had my eye on Grace and Harry. I saw Grace laugh, and she took Harry's hand, making him use the proper grip on his wand. I had butterflies in my stomach. Mikayla tried the spell, then it was my turn. I quickly said it, and then shot back straight at Grace and Harry.

Seamus was having difficulties. A lot of them. He pointed his wand to the feather.

"Wingardleviosa Wingardleviosa" he kept on saying, then Mikayla stopped his hand.
