Chapter 11

"Harley!" Joker called from downstairs. I sighed as I closed my book and headed down.
"Yes?" I had just put on my costume and makeup and started to relax when he suddenly needed me.
"We're going on a little errand to the casino."
"What for?" I was confused, this was my first day with the joker and his men and once out of Arkham he immediately is jumping to a new crime or something in that genre. He was probably going to be exhausting to work with.
"I'm meeting someone very important." Joker then called to his men and around 20 showed up. Man, he wasn't kidding when he said he had a lot of "henchmen" he needed to give rooms to. Joker then put on a long black trench coat that went down below his knees and a big black hat that covered most of his face except for his nose and mouth. He threw me a hand gun and I tucked it in my right boot. I then pulled on my mask and followed joker into a garage where several cars were kept. His men followed and it appeared that we would be taking all of the cars which included 2 pickup trucks, a black sports car, and a giant moving truck that looks very beat up and old.
"I only need 10 men, Harley and I will be taking the sports car." I grew excited, I had never been in a sports car before. The ten men joker needed grabbed a few guns and climbed into the two pickup trucks and I let myself into the sports car. One of joker's men who wasn't accompanying us opened the garage door and once joker got into the drivers seat he stepped on the gas and we sped down the street, the other cars followed.
"Why do we need so many men and guns?" I shouted over the roar of the engine.
"It's just the way I do things." The Joker smirked and not soon after we entered downtown Gotham.
"We're a tad early since I'm scheduled to be there at 7 so we're going to do a few things beforehand." It was 5:30 so whatever it is that we would be doing must be last minute.
"Like what?" We pulled up to an old factory and joker reached toward the trunk and pulled out a bottle of red spray paint and a bottle of green. I took the red bottle and exited the car. Joker then walked toward the building and started spraying words like:
HAHAHA
THIS WAY BATS!
CAN YOU STOP ME?
LETS PLAY A GAME
I guess we were vandalizing a building now, and who was 'bats"? Joker had sprayed that word about a million times and it confused me, I decided to just go along with it and wrote things similar to it. Joker then rigged the building from the inside with dynamite that was brought in by one of the trucks. Why was the joker doing this?
