We finally got the cops off our tail as we drove though some of the backroads in town. The driver turned off their headlights and we waited in an alley for the cops to drive past. They eventually did but we waited for a few minutes just to make sure that they were really gone and wouldn't see us. We soon pulled out of the alley and were on our way to wherever we were going.
"You know Harley you might need a little *ahem* disguise so the cops won't find you very easily." The joker turned to face me, eyebrows raised.
"Where would you suggest I get this disguise?" I was too tired to even think properly and changing my appearance was the last thing I wanted to do.
"We'll make a little pit stop on our way." Just then the car pulled into a parking lot of an old run down costume store. Joker got out and gestured for me to do the same. I tiredly obeyed and made my way towards the store. It was around 1 am, the store probably wasn't even open. The joker pulled out his shot gun and blew open the lock on the door, letting us in.
"Pick wisely, and don't take too long." I gazed at all of the rows and rows of costumes, there was no way I would be able to pick one in such little time.
"Sorry to interrupt your little moment but I have a minor suggestion. Maybe choose something that goes along with our theme?" He then held up a red and black checkered spandex suit along with black gloves, a black mask, and a red and black hat.
"They also have-ah makeup if you want." I ran into the dressing room and tried on the suit. It fit me like a glove and I immediately started to admire myself in the mirror. I then ran towards the makeup and found exactly what I was looking for! Back in the dressing room I applied white makeup to all of my face and neck. I then a applied mascara and put on black lipstick. Finally, I put on my mask and slipped on the black gloves. I decided to toss the weird red and black hat aside, I'd much rather have my hair visible. All that was missing was shoes but they had a whole isle full of random shoes and I found a black boot and a red boot that looked relatively similar and comfortable. After slipping the shoes on and grabbing the makeup so I could use it whenever I needed to, I stepped out to show joker my new look.
"Well?" I asked, waited for a response from a speechless clown.
"Looking good!" Joker began eying me, but not seeming to linger on anything for too long which made my fear of being raped go down.
"We should probably get going." He was still looking at me until we got into the car.
As I got in everyone turned around to look at me. This made me feel uncomfortable so I cleared my throat as an indication to get moving. The driver started up the car and we were on our way again to wherever we were going.
