Chapter 46

'tell me whats wrong' he whispered his voice suprisingly soft compared to earlier. 'I cant, its nothing, just..' She trailed off wiping a hand over her face, how could she tell him she wanted more, he was hot and cold, the way he acted had her thinking he cared about her, his constant teasing and sexual innuendo's was there a deeper meaning to them she wondered. 'Rosa?' Blaise prompted and she sighed this conversation was getting to deep, she felt suffocated and the fact that she couldnt even walk away from it all didnt help. Starting something with Blaise could be the best or worst thing she could ever do. She desperately wanted to have him, well his body but what if after everything changed, the lust vanished it would ruin everything, her friendships with the others would be strained too, everything awkward and tense, and if they didn’t then she would never know what she could have had. 'just forget it Blaise,  i dont want to talk about it anymore, please just leave it' she begged tears welling at the fact that she couldnt escape. 'alright Rosa calm down, im sorry if I upset you, do you want me to leave?' he aksed his voice so soft she closed her eyes as she listened a lone tear trickling down her cheek. She shook her head in response to his question. 'stay, please' she whispered lying back down in to the bed, she turned on to her side and closed her eyes, knowing Blaise would stay right there in that seat behind her because she'd asked he was amazing like that she thought a small smile slipping on to her face. The animals outside were setlling down for the night, the cool night air making her shiver slightly as she pulled the thin cover tighter around her, the clanking of the things strewn over her sheets made her scrunch up her nose but she couldnt be bothered getting up to put them away, even after all her cat naps she was exhausted, perhaps it was emotional drain she thought wryly. The feel of the heavy objects on her leg being lifted away had her opeing her eyes and looking over her shoulder at Blaise, who was leaning over her bed, a bag in his hand as he stuffed the things back in to it. She sent him a grateful smile, lying on her back so she could watch him. In the dim light he was beautiful, his body moving so gracefully. He smiled in return and whispered an apology for tipping the contents up in the first place. He kept some candles and an oil lantern out, 'ill be back in a minute? Will you be ok?' he asked his voice worried and she sent him an irritated look. 'Blaise im not a baby ill be fine, 6 years remember' she muttered before she yawned. ' hmmm right'  he replied before he walked out and she watched almost drooling at the way his back muscles moved he was delicious. Before he left the room he stopped and turned a smirk plastering his face as his eyes burned down at her she gulped at that look 'now now Rosa' he scolded mockingly before he turned and walked out again and she slumped in her bed, did he have eyes in the back of his head or something.

The next day Rosa lay in her bed, there wasnt much she could do anyway. The morning had been spent with Blaise coming in to her bed room every few minutes to see if she was ok, it was getting beyond annoying, that same strange feeling she had washed over her a few times, it was a weird feeling as if someone else was with her, nervously she kept glancing round but obviously no one was there. She was more then sure Blaise would have been able to smell or hear if anyone approached, but the uneasiness didn’t let up, that familiar itch started on her arm and Rosas heart thumped as she recalled flahes of what had happened last time. She had convinced her self that it was her mind playing tricks, glancing down to her arm she inspected it but nothing seemed out of the ordinary, the itch burned and she couldnt help but scrach it and just like before something ran under her skin and she clamped a hand over her mouth to stop from shrieking. 'Rosa? Whats wrong? Your heart just spiked?' Blaise called and she squeezed her eyes shut, damn she had forgotten that he was probably monitoring her heart rate. 'n-nothing' she squeaked and cringed at her high pitch. In a second Blaise's large figure filled the doorway, his eyes dating around the room and his face grim and she took a second to admire how badass he was, his body ready for danger but was dragged back to reality when his questioning eyes locked on to her and she quickly shoved her arm behind her but his eyes narrowed and he spoke her name the way  you would use with a child. 'Ros-a?' he began and she scrambled back in her bed. 'its nothing I thought I saw a beetle' she muttered embarrased at her feeble lie, she knew he could tell she was lying but hoped he would drop it. 'where on your arm?' he asked sarcastically and she scowled. 'yes on my arm' she shot back and he raised an eyebrow at her stupid comeback. Sighing she resigned and pulled her arm from her back. 'it wasnt a beetle' she murmerd dropping her gaze. 'I gathered that much' he answered amused and she scowled at him before continuing. 'but I did see somethng, well I thought I did anyway but its probably just me and all the pain killers ive been taking' she muttered mainly to her self as she thought. 'what did you see?' he asked all amusement gone as his eyes darted to the windws and his grim expression fell back in to place. 'its nothing' she mumbeled and he growled low which had her snapping her eyes to his angry face. 'Rosa you tell me what you saw or I swear to g-'
