Chapter 51

Blaise was sat with a menacing looking gun in his lap. A rag and some strange looking tubs and bottles next to him on the table as he bent over the gun. She watched raising an eyebrow at the way he almost lovingly carressed the barrel, she felt jelousy breifly surge through her and then instantly felt disgusted with her self at the fact that she actually thought a gun rivalary for Blaise's attention. 'you gonna stand there all day or are you actuallly gonna take a seat' he grunted not looking away from what he was doing, sending him a scowl he couldnt see, she slinked in to to a seat, suprising herslef by how silently and how gracefully she moved. Maybe it was a part of being shifter she thought, a thrill rushing through her at the thought. There was so much that she could do now. Her eyes  focused on what he was doing. 'if a gun isn't cleaned after it is used it messes with its dynamics' he grunted answering her thoughts and she nodded, eagerly absorbing his words. Her training was obviously postponed until her leg was better but everyday she wished she could get back to it, the idea of it thrilled her and the ability made her feel confident and so much bigger then her well below average height. A thought suddenly struck her that caused a cold shiver to run down her back. 'err so when exactly was this gun used?' she asked her words curious and slightly scared sounding. His eyes snapped to hers and she was shocked to see them hard and emotionless. 'thats irrelevant' he answered his voice monotanous. She frowned at his words. Seeing Blaise for what he was a killer. She shook her morbid thoughts. 'I actually wanted to talk to you about something' she muttered shuffling in her seat nervously. A painful twinge shot through her hip and she grit her teeth against it. She had stopped taking her pain meds they made her drowsy and she didn’t like the groggy feeling that followed. 'what' Blaise grumbled his focus still soley on the gun. 'i wan you to help me with eveyrthing shifter related' she mumbled abruptly he stopped, his face emotionless and his eyes burning as they looked at her slightly shocked. 'what?' he asked but she knew he'd heard so explainig her reasoning she began. 'its just ive had time to think about things and I feel as if im ready to except it all, to embrace it, now that ive adjusted I feel so ready for everthing, I feel as if I can finally accept that im one of you and I want to know everthing there is to know Blaise, will you teach me?' she asked biting her lip. Slowly Blaise lowered the dirty rag in his hands, placing the gun by his side he just stared blankly at her, before sighing. 'Rosa you know theres no way im letting you shift or anything on that leg so forget it' he growled in response his eyes narrowed as she frowned at him. 'even I know it would be stupid to shift on an injured leg Blaise, I mean other things, theres so much I want to know please tell me' she pleaded again not caring if she sounded vulnerable or desperate, she was just eager to learn. Blaisé watched her for a full minute assessing her she didn’t look like the woman from a week ago, so much had changed about her, she was tougher hardened, she knew so much had experienced it all and had come through fighting he felt proud of her. Nodding his head he lifted him self up from his chair coming to kneel in front of her he ignored the way her heart rate picked up or the way her breathing became ragged. Cupping her cheek he reveled in the burst of heat and energy that jumped from him to her. His green eyes alive with so much emotion as he stared in to her big caramel ones. 'Im sorry, I just feel protective of you, I dont want to do or say anything that will hurt you' he murmered his thumb brushing over her lips as he cupped her face.

'you dont need to worry about me Blaise, I can handle my self fine' she assured his eyes narrowed at her words, and she continued finding it suprising that she actually meant her next words. 'but I promise if I ever need someone it will be you, and I wont hesitate to call you' she assured her heart in her throat as she waited for his reponse. Her feeelings for him hadnt changed with the new revelation, they had been momentarily lost to anger but they seemed to have returned with a vengence. 'That means more then I can say' he breathed dropping his hands and sitting back on his heels, a genuine smile stretched across his rugged face. Rosa felt her answering smile and ducked her head blushing at how intimate the moment seemed. 'Ok so where to begin.....'
