Rosa woke to the smell of smoke, her blurry eyes blinked open and she jerked upright setting the hammock swinging wildly, where was Blaise? Her eyes scanned the forest below and she exhaled in relief at the sight of a small fire, someone's been busy she mused stretching her legs and smiling remembering how well the night went. Landing on the forest floor she strolled up to fire leaning over to see 4 rather large fish being smoked, her stomach growled and she eyed the meal hungrily not her usual breakfast but she wasn't complaining where the he'll had he found fish she wondered eyeing the trees for any sign of her male. Whoa stop that thought right there, he wasn't hers at all, she mentally kicked her self at her thoughts, wondering where to start looking for him when a sudden gust of wind had her stiffening and spinning round, a faint scent of something primal and dangerous floated on the breeze, thAt wasn't the smell of Blaise or any one else she knew, Rosa's heart lurched in her chest and she felt the beads of sweat forming on her body, oh fuck she mentally cursed and crept back silently willing her body to take cover under the thick canopy of leaves. The scent was getting stronger, who ever it was they were shifter and coming this way, Two New scents joined the third and ROSA silently cursed, who the hell were they, this couldn't be a coincidence and where the he'll was Blaise who ever these new threats were they certAinly weren't in the area for a friendly chat, there scents told her they were closing in on the area she was in and she had the distinct impression that her and Blaise were being stalked. No doubt the smell of smoke was drawing them closer. ROSAS Heart pounded in her chest, the forest suddenly feeling strikingly hot, her breath began coming out in quick pants and she made a conscious effort to calm her self, the last thing she needed was 3 male shifters attracted to her scent of fear. And she wasn't completely defenceless she was shifter too and she had excellent fighting skills... yeah right who was she kidding she couldn't take on 3 males, her heart leapt as she heard leaves rustling somewhere out of her field of vision, please let that be Blaise she pleaded and was suddenly struck with the horrific image of Blaise fighting 3 shifters he was an incredible warrior and amazing fighter but against three? Her mind began to panic, he'd get hurt or worse, her mouth went dry and she almost choked as she imagined a world without Blaise in it no, they couldn't hurt him she wouldn't let them. She willed her mind to slow down the panic and ratioanlise the situation, the fact that 3 leapords were stalking her wasn't helping her panicked state and she focused her mind despertaley finding a way to save herself and protect Blaise. She could talk to Rednai she thought, explain things, they were friends once, Maybe he's understand, he had to this had to work, she couldn't imagine anything less. With an impending sense of doom Rosa braced herself, not fully believing what she was about to do but Feeling emboldened by a sense of righteous bravery ROSA took a shaky breath and stepped out of the canopy. Everything around her stilled almost as if the forest were holding its breath. Her eyes quickly took in the trees, she scanned the tree tops and noted the subtle shift in the air. Instinct had her turning to the right, legs crouched and lip lifted in a snarl as the large head of an adult male leopard slowly stalked out of the underbrush, it's eyes locked on her. RosS heart stilled, a million warning and scenarios screaming inside her head, she was mildly relieved to not Blaise wasn't here but that wouldn't last no doubt he'd come back soon and then it'd be a blood bath, she had to lead these shifters away. She vaguely noticed the other two leopard had also emerged and now surrounded her, effectively trapping her. What to do, what to do, her mind raced and she knew she had to think fast. Straightening from her defensive position ROSA extended her hands palms facing outward in surrender, her heart hammering wildly, what was stopping one of these leopards from leaping at her and ripping out her throat she thought with the amusement of someone who knew they were going to die. Gulping In air she raised her hands higher to show she was willing to comply and said with all the confidence and assurance she didn't feel "Take me to Rednai my business is with him and I know he sent you, under your own laws and the laws of the tribe you can not punish me without a formal trial or without him present. She made the bravado she wasn't feeling show on her face and stared Intently in to the eyes of the leopard she assumed was in charge of the three. Seconds ticked by or maybe minutes, her wild heart hammering with each breath she took. Eventually the Leopard her eyes were trained on straightened and she knew before he did it, that he was going to shift, she was only mildly relieved knowing very well he could still probably kill her In his human form before she even knew what he was doing, he seemed to be a well trained leopard. The male stood before here with dAngerous eyes trained on her and she didn't even dare twitch because he sure looked ready to pounce at any moment without even a reason, she also hadn't forgotten the other two leopards who were now low on the ground In a crouch one she knew she didn't have a chance of escaping if she decided to run, she was royally dead. Her mind kept fluttering back to Blaise and she knew she needed to move now before he came back no doubt he would be enraged and fight till the death and that was something that needed to be avoided at all costs, funny how the reality of the situation made her think of how much she hadn't done with Blaise, of what she hadn't yet told him, her regrets burned up inside of her and she had to consciously steel herself now was not the time. She had to keep him safe and this seemed to be the only way, maybe he'd think they kidnapped her? She mused taking a measured step towards the male, palms still outstretched once she established they weren't going to rush her she exhaled the breath she had been holding and slowly stepped forward again , she needed to keep the attention on her she couldn't risk them deciding to lie In wait for Blaise as well. "Its me he wants, I'll come with you, but we must go now" she stated directing it towards the man before her, her death row amused voice in the back of her mind seemed to notice that the male was huge and naked, but none of that was really registering at the minute, her mind once again fluttered to the male she was protecting and she inwardly winced at how he was gonna react to this, boy he was gonna be one pissed off leopard. She barely noticed the male in front stiffen and heard as if from far the low growls of the two leopards before she was being choked by a big hand around her throat and the body of the big male pressed up against her. "Your a shifte.. What the fuckr" he growled the surprise and anger in his voice evident, she was only able to gasp as his hold on her seemed to tighten As he Inhaled her scent. She weakly banged her wrist against his chest trying to stop the black spots from clouding her Vision, desperately trying to suck air in to her burning lungs, now would not be a good time to faint she mentally screamed to her self as blackness seemed to swamp her and she collapsed feeling large hands grab her before she hit the floor
