Chapter 54

'wit woo, can I get a closer look' Kile breathed in too her ear and she shot up stifiling a scream. Whipping her head around she covered her breasts with her hands as she glared at him over her shoulder.

He was stood behind her doubled over in laughter. 'Kile I swear your so dead, get out of here right now' She growled, her voice pitched low as he dramatically wiped a tear from his eye. 'should- have- seen- your - face' he wheezed, and she blushed. 'Get out you perv' she spat again trying not to laugh as he winced holding his side his laughter still going strong. 'your reaction was so worth it' he chuckled and she scowled at him, a thought suddenly occuring to her. Taking a deep breath she yelled. 'BLAISE!!!!!'

'No -you didn't! fucking hell Rosa it was a j-'

before she could blink his large body filled the doorway, his eyes furious as they locked on to Kile. The growl that escaped his throat chilled her. His whole body was menacing his eyes swirling between his furious dark green and the luminous of his jaguar.

'ill give you 3 seconds' he hissed his fists clenched she saw Kile visibly shrink before he slowly backed out of the room, his eyes not leaving Blaise's just as he dissapeared from view Blaise took a step towards the door ready to follow Kile and tear him to pieces but Rosa's soft voice stopped him. 'nice to know you come running when I call' she murmerd her eyes locked on his form. He turned to face her his anger still there. She felt his eyes burn over her body and gulped damn she should have just let him walk out, sinking further in to the water she tried to cover her self as much as she could. 'ill always come.. for you' he whispered his voice husky and she licked her lips at his innuendo. 'Blaise i-'

'just hurry up, ill be stood outside the door' he growled before he abruptly turned and stalked out of the room. Rosa exhaled letting her raging body calm down, she secretley had wished he wouldnt leave. But he obviosuly did.

Rosa sat upright in her bed in between Jay's legs her back to his chest as he combed out her damp hair. She loved the feeling of someone playing with her hair, it was soothing and comforting. Closing her eyes she sighed in content. 'im planning a spa day for tonight and then tommorow, the best shifter party youve ever seen' Kile stated his face scunched up in thought as Drake shot him a disgusted look. 'I swear you sound so much like a chick its freaky' he grunted slapping the back of his head. 'cut it out' Marcos growled and they both grudgingly stopped. 'it'll actually be the only shifter party ive been to' Rosa stated cracking open an eye to see their shocked faces. 'the party thats not happening' Blaise growled as he sauntered in, his arms and ankles crossed as he leant against the doorway his eyes trained on her, before they snapped to Jay behind her and narrowed at his porximity. 'It is happening dude, your just upset your not going to be here for it' Dawson muttered and Blaise turned a glare on to him. 'I said its not happeneing end of' he growled again panning his gaze over all of them. 'well you wouldnt actually know if we did or not,' Kile murmerd and he was cuffed again this time by Blaise.'did you not hear me say no' he growled and the others snickered as Kile rubbed his head scowling. 'believe whatever helps you sleep at night' Emmerson grunted and Blaise snarled shutting up their teasing. 'guys forget the party i'd rather just hang out instead' she mumbled peeking at Blaise to see a relieved look flash over his face before it was replaced by that hard mask he wore. 'all set?' she asked biting her lip as she waited for his answer his brief nod confirmed it and she squirmed at the knot in her stomach. 'thats great' she mumbled picking at the threads in her sheets. 'how long will it be before you set off?' she asked again 'in a few hours why?' he answered his voice low as he looked at her curiously. 'just wondering' she mumbled, dropping her gaze. 'so we should probably get things ready' Jay muttered slipping out from behind Rosa. The others grunted agreements and one by one left the room, this situation was all too familiar, she saw Emmerson glare at Blaise before he left and she smiled a small smile. 'not getting ready?' she asked not meeting his eyes, she tried hard to hide the sadness in her voice. 'im prepared' he answerd his voice calm. 'Blaise?' she asked her voice a whsiper. He grunted for her to continue, 'promise me something, you'll come back to us, to me right?' she asked her voice cracking with emotion. 'I promise as long as you promise me something in return' he stated his eyes narrowed and she nodded her head she'd do anything for him as long as he came back ok. 'dont forget those guys in there are men, id really hate to have to hurt my friends for messing with something thats mine' he murmered taking a step towards her. 'yours?' she gulped and he nodded his eyes trained on her. 'I promise' she whispered. Blaise knelt down beside her, his hand cupping her cheeks, his finger brushed along her jaw. 'ill be back and when I am theres something I want to tell you' he whispered his face inching closer to hers, the heat from his touch seared her, her breathing was already ragged with him just near. 'tell me now' she breathed her lips parted as he came steadily closer. His deep chuckle sent shivers down her. 'not yet Cher, thats my promise to you, so you know I will be back, I told you already, i'd never leave you' his nose ran along her jaw, breathing in her tempting scent, wanting to memorize it for when he was away. Her hand ran up his arms, her small fists tightening worund his biceps. Her eyes pricked with how gentle he was, her heart ached not knowing hw long it would be till she saw him again, if she saw him again. 'stay safe' she whispered squeezing her eyes shut, she wouldnt cry, she wanted to remember this. 'im always safe' he muttered his lips trailing along her jaw leaving a burning trail, her breath caught as he moved towards her mouth, her heart hammering wanting to feel his lips on hers. Instead he stopped at the corner of her mouth leaving one stinging kiss there, so feather light but it ignitied the fire within her just by how sweet it was. He pulled back his face showing so much emotion her heart throbbed. Slowly he backed away from her, a frown pulled at her face as he stood once again towering over her he turned on the spot and began walking away. He face twisted in to a mask of detemination, if he thought he was going to leave like that, leave her burning for him he had another thing coming, she'd do the same. Throwing her covers off of her she rose from her bed in one swift movement, Blaise had just enough time to register the sound of her feet before he was spun around and shoved back in to the wall. Rosa stood before him, her eyes narrowed and a look of pure determination on her face. 'I dont think so' she murmered before she threw her slight body at him, catching him by suprise she crushed her lips to his, his rough lips feeling like heaven against hers, her hands tangled in his hair as she pressed her body further in to his, his arms had automatically constricted around her waist lifting her up so she could reach him easier. He was still in shock his lips barely moving as she pressed her body further in to his, crushed her lips harder, even biting at his lip branding him, she needed this, the heat courisng through her fuelled her lust her body grinding in to his as she felt pleasure shoot through her. Her legs wrapping around his waist, her centre pressed tight against him once again, she ground in to him again moaning at the pleasure, just then his hand tightened around her waist, he ground back against her his lips beginning to move in sync with hers but she quickly pulled back, her eyes blazing a sexy smirk spread across her face. That was what she was waiting for. Unwrapping her legs from around him she dropped to the floor, taking a step away from him a hand settling on her hip as she licked her lips. His shocked face was so amusing, the confused frown adorable, as he stood there mouth open and arms wide. 'thought you were leaving just like that, well I got mine' she smirked crossing her ams smugly, his eyes darkened to that swirling she loved so much, determination in his face as he clenched his fists before stalking towards her she felt her smile fall but before he reached her in burst Jay her saviour. 'Hey Blaise, everythings ready you should probably set off now, itll be nightfall soon and you need to be at least half way there by then' he stated holding out a bag she assumed had things in it. Blaise hadnt looked away from her that fire still in his eyes. 'we'll finish this when I get back' he growled snatching the bag and stalking out, The smugness she had felt seemed to evaporate, her heart sinking, tears pricked at her eyes as she realised this was it, he was now leaving. With each step he took away from her she felt as if her heart were tearing. Her stomach churned, a deep pain settling in her chest, Jay followed him out but she stayed rooted to the spot, she could see out of her bedroom doorway to the main room outside, she saw the others give him those manly hugs, asking if he needed anything else. Her heart felt splintered as she saw them wave him off, his large body walking towards the front door, he didn't look back as he walked out and out of her sight. She felt as if her legs were about to give way her body shaking with so much emotion,her hands wrapped around her stomach trying to hold her self together but a sob racked out of her, without thinking she spun, running to the balcony behind her she looked down at the rainforest below, the vegetation so thick she couldnt see anything. Blaise was on the opposite side of where she was now but that thought didn't deter her, a confidence settling over her, as she swung her legs over before propelling her self down, her feet collided with a tree trunk below and she winced at the pain landing in a crouch she straigtened up, looking up to her balcony, she hoped no one would notice her abscense at least for a while, she just needed enough time to get far away. Quickening her pace she easily leapt from tree to tree, running flat out she paced her body, everything seemed so much more in control, she knew where to put each foot, knowing where was safe, her leapord helping her navigate the dense forest, she willed the change but nothing happened and she didn't want to stop and wait for her leapord to emerge either. She had to go round the tree that her home was set in, going round to the front but she'd still be below the main pathway that led to her house, the pathway she assumed Blaise was on. Ducking under branches she ran, opening up her senses, she made use of her sensitive hearing listening out for any sound indicating where he was, her nose sniffing every few seconds, trying to catch his familiar scent. Sweat beaded on her body and she felt hot all over, her hair flying out behind her, it got caught a few times and she winced at the pain, with one hand she rolled it up in to a bun without breaking stride. She was directly under the pathway now, but she couldnt see any sign of him, he could have carried on on that same pathway but knowing how careful He was he had probably taking a hidden route, her heart thudded at that thought, hoping she'd find him by nightfall. She didn't regret going after him, there was no way she was letting him go without her being there too.Slowing to a jog she analysed her suroundings, the trees didn't look like they had been disturbered neither had the earth. Frowning she changed direction catching the fainstest whiff of his delicious scent, added a new surge of adrenaline through her. He feet silently glided over the floor, not once did she step on a leaf or twig her whole prescense masked, she was so much more graceful now and she loved it, her body moving easily, like fluid. Another waft of his scent caught he attention, it was coming from north she changed directions once again, following his scent, her body like a radar ready to act if anything went wrong. Blaise her mind chanted and she determindly sprinted in his direction. His scent was stronger now, he had passed here, her leporad was able to tell how long it had been aswell, 5 minutes roughly, he was travelling fast and she was having a hard time keeping up with him, the wind was blowing in the opposite direction to where she was going, although it carried Blaise's scent to her it didn't take hers to Blaise, so he wouldnt know she was coming, growling in annoyance, she switched up to a higher gear, her legs moving effortlessley she ate up meters in seconds, her focus was all on that one scent, her vision tunneling so all she could see was the path before her, she was a good tracker, every so often she would see a snapped twig or a bruised leaf and smile smugly she was on the righ trail, he had passed this way, but because of Blaise's training he knew how to drop a tail so he was continiously changing directions, making it difficult for her to follow his scent. Growling in annoyance, Rosa continued, her eyes taking in everything, for the first time she felt wary, her whole body on alert, she was alone for the first time in nearly three weeks in the rainforst, just being without the others felt foreign, she disliked it, wanting to be back with the people she knew. But just a thought of Blaise and her determined mask clicked back in to place. Something caused a twig to snap to her right, in an instant her body froze, automatically asuming a crouched position, her teeth bared and eyes narrowed as she peirced the area with her gaze looking for the threat, seconds ticked by but she didn't even twitch, her body unnaturaly still, her eyes unblinking as she waited patiently, not even her chest rose with her breaths. A Slow Lorris, poked its head out from behind a few leaves, her eyez zoning in on it, as its large orb like eyes stared back at her, its hand slowly coming up to climb on to a branch, she waited for a heartbeat her eyes never leaving the small animal infront of her, when nothing happened she eased her body out of its crouched position. The Lorris only now noticing her prescense froze she smiled a small smile at it, it really was cute. Before she used her superior senses to pick up Blaise's trail, it seemed to be fading that had her panicking, in an instant she was sprinting again, her body moving over the uneven forest floor with ease, as she tried to catch up with him, her body wanting her to scream his name at the top of her lungs, knowing he'd hear her, but so would every other shifter in a ten mile raidus. Sweat dripped down her body, her top clinging to her and her shorts too tight. Would streaking through the rainforest naked be such a bad thing? She wondered as she puffed out air, her body was starting to ache but she ignored it soley focused on finding Blaise. His scent seemed to increase the more she ran and she fist pumped the air, he had passed this way, it was starting to get dark, the trees casting shadows. Everything looked a lot eerier from down here, then it did from high up in the balcony. She shivered as a cold chill went through her. Where the hell was he. By now her sprints had slowed to a steady jog, as she was walking a thought struck her, the forest usually so lively and buzzing with life was almost silent. It was unsual, and she frowned as her jogging slowed to steps, Her head snapping to look around her, an uneasy vibe washing over her. Rosa's hand automatically went to the loop in her shorts and she stopped short when she realsied that it was empty, her knife was back home ,cursing she crouched her body slightly, her senses on full alert for the slightest warning of danger. Night time in the rainforest was deadly and she didn't much like the idea of being out her on her own all night. Gulping as she heard the rustling of leaves she braced her body again, her eyes narrowed as they focused on the area the sound had come from straining hard to see in the growing darkness a deep warning rumble rose from her chest that surprised her but before she could even process anything else she was slammed in too from behind. Her whole body was sent flying, she landed with a thud, a face full of dirt as a heavy weight was pressed in to her, she felt like she was being crushed, not being able to lift her head up enough to even scream. 'who tha fuck are you and why were you following me' Rosa melted at that voice her body going limp under him, trying to tell him who she was, he didn't move an inch instead his weight increased as if he didn't trust the fact that she wasnt fighting back, She couldnt even whimper his mass pressing her face in to the ground so that only grunts and hiss's escaped not knowing any other way to show who she was and she could tell he was getting impatient, because his knees that she know realised were cutting in to her legs dug in deeper and she felt tears prick her eyes. Her hand was the only free thing so thinking quickly she threw her arm back flailing wildly until she felt it make contact with his skin. That familiar spark shot through her, her hand burning and instantly the weight was gone. Rosa jerked up coughing and spluttering, twigs and leaves in her hair, as she shook them off, wiping the tears that had escaped she spared a glance for her legs and knew they would be bruised after that. Her ribs hurt from the fall and she winced as she rubbed at them. Her eys searching the dark for Blaise. She finally spotted him stood not even a foot away, his face shocked and his body frozen, she didn't even think he was breathing. She frowned expecting a better welcome then that. Nervously she bit her lip, after shock there was always more then likely going to be anger and she winced as she thought about how much he was going to yell at her. 'nice to see you too' she muttered dusting off her legs, they were streaked with dirt as were her clothes and she huffed as she looked down at her self. Pulling her self up, she ran a hand through her hair grimacing when her fingers tangled on snags and knots. Small leaves and bits of dirt falling out. He seemed to come out of his paralysed state and she watched anxiously as his hands balled his face changing to that mask that meant he was furious. 'What. The. Fuck' he hissed and she peeked at him from he rlashes. 'errr' she murmerd slightly confused not really knowing what to say. 'what the hell are you doing here' he hissed again this time stepping closer, he grasped her elbow dragging her body in to him and she almost sighed happily at his touch. 'Isnt it obvious I followed you' she replied meeting his eyes not regeretting her descicion. 'are you trying to get your self killed, your so fucking reckless' he growled and she scowled at him. 'no im not actually, I knew what I was doing, cant you just be happy I came' she snapped feeling irked that she had done all this for him to be so ungrateful. 'no' he grolwed dropping her arm and stepping away his face dropping in to that emotionless mask. 'no what? No your not glad I came?' she asked the hurt in her voice obvious. He ran a frustrated hand through his hair. 'its complicated' he spat, and she narrowed her eyes at him. 'its not complicated from where im standing, your either happy I came or your not in which case ill turn around and go back right now, tell me' she demanded her voice like steel as he eyed her sighing in frustatrtion. 'no dont do that, that would be even more reckless, just stay your here now' he growled but she didn't budge. 'do you or do you not want me here' she grolwed back fists balled, blocking the pricking tears that wanted to escape. 'I want you you know that' he snarled stepping up in to her space again, but she didn't back away instead met his eyes defianttly not beleiving him. 'prove it' she growled not really thinking her words through,she eard his answering growl before she was swept up into his arms, shock consuming her as she relflexively fastened her arms around his neck, her body crushed to his, he was holding her of the floor, so they were eye level. His forhead coming to rest against hers as his eyes burned in to hers. 'I havent stopped thinking about you since I walked out of your room, your body, your face your lips, there all burned in to my mind, but nothings better then the real thing, I want you so bad I cant evnen go a second without thoughts of you taking over my mind, Cher, dont say I dont want you here, i do, it nearly killed me to walk away from you, to leave you behind, Rosa youve got no idea how good it feels to just hold you' he breathed and she melted in to his embrace, her chin resting on his shoulder as she squeezed him, needing to feel him, her body had finally calmed when she was in his arms. 'im sorry Blaise I just, I had to see you' she whispered burying her face in to his neck as his arms tightened around her. 'your so stupid cher, anyhting could have happened to you, did I hurt you?' he asked sounding worried as he pulled her small body away too inspect her. She shook her head and sent him a smile just drinking in all of his perfect features. 'right well I guess we better get going, we'll do a few more hours with whats left of the light and then camp for the night' he stated and she nodded eagerly, 'wait, you didn't happen to bring your pack with you when you ever so geniously decided to sneak out and follow me' he asked his voice amused and his eye brow raised as she shifted her feet, shaking her head an apologetic smile on her face. Blaise groaned and she giggled at how dramatic he was being. 'never mind' he sighed before he turned picking up his large bag and effortlesssly slinging it over his shoulder as she drooled at how hot that move was. His smirk in her direction told her he knew what she was thinking, but she wasnt even slightly embarrased, he was so beyond sexy and she damn well was going to make sure he knew it.
