Maddie's POV:

"Luke! " I yelled , causing Luke to look straight at me.

"What is it baby?" He walks over to me, cautious of what he was doing. he was holding a glass vase , and he didn't want to break it because he knew I would kill him.

"where's mum?" I ask him, looking around.

"she's probably in the bathroom? I don't know." he says, putting the case back on the table.

"Luke, it's Ambers birthday today." i looked at him, with a disapproving look.

near mum, Luke stays calm and quiet. but inside , he still hasn't forgiven her. but I, I have. I have because she's almost like my mother , and I want to treat her that way .

"okay fine. but I don't really know where she is." he says back, now walking away from the hall.

yes, today was my shining bright Angels birthday . Amber was now turning seven years old and a bit more sassy.

as for me, I was turning into an old woman.

"mum!" I shouted.

"yes!" I sighed.

"where were you?! I looked everywhere for you." I smiled at her.

"sorry sweetie, I went to get my hair done. I'm definitely not going to let my angel down on her birthday."

I smiled , realizing what I really came to mum to tell her.

"mum." I said, looking at her face.

"yes maddie, everything alright?" she looked at me with worry.

"I-I went to the gynecologist today."

"Amber! guess whose home!"

"oh my god , dad , I'm not three anymore. I know your deep Australian voice when I hear it . " she looked at me dumbfounded .

this girl , she went on Michael . sadly .

"okay jeez I guess you don't miss your dad. I can just leave if you want--"

"no dad I was joking! I love you so much chill ! take a joke for once ! "

"you have got to stop hanging out with Adam and uncle ash . that boy has definitely got you wrapped around his finger" I said smiling .

"stop referring to your song , it's not funny ."

"this child ." I scoffed , turning around to Maddie .

"what did you say about my child ."

"Maddie you spoiled our child" I fake cried .

"DADDY ARE YOU OKAY WHY ARE YOU CRYING ?" Amber runs to me and hugs me .

"because mum spoiled you ."
