Luke's POV:

I woke up to a weird feeling that Lexi was hurt. So I decided to go to her house.

It was around one o'clock. I ran straight to her house hearing her mom yelling stuff that I couldn't understand, mostly because she was crying.

I saw the condition Lexi was in, picked her up bridal style, and took her to the hospital as fast as I could. You see, the hospital wasn't that far, so we just walked.

I stayed up all night. All I could think of was Lexi. I just wanted her to be okay. But thankfully, the doctor let us in saying that she survived.

"She's recovering." The doctor notified us, letting us into the room. There she was, many loops of white cotton on her wrist, to try and heal her wound.

"Thank you doctor" Lindsey shrieked, "I thought I was going to die."

I looked at her with a funny face because wasn't she expecting--never mind that's not nice to say.

"It's okay. She's alright now, isn't she?" I pulled my arms out for Lindsey to hug.

"My poor daughter. She really needs to forget about what is happening." She was literally drowning in tears. Her eyes were red because she couldn't sleep all night. She looked like she had been sick forever.

"Yeah, you're right. Maybe I should try and talk to her when she wakes up." I closed my eyes. Lexi was my best friend, and it hurt to know that she almost died.

-

"Hey." I said.

"Hey." Lexi looked up to me, putting her coffee back on the table.

"How are you feeling now?" I asked her, putting my hand on hers.

"I'm fine, well, physically." She answers, looking up into the curtains.

"Look, Lex, I'm sorry. You know I couldn't do anything about it. No one in my family is happy about it except, well, my dad." I looked up at her.

"It's okay Luke. I'm still your friend." She raised her head and then I remembered when she told me that she liked me.

"Yeah, well, I have to go, so bye." I jumped off of her bed, giving her a hug, and went outside to my car. I drove to Calum's house because that's where we've been practicing.

"Hey guys." I opened the door.

"Hey Luke, how's you're friend?" Calum asked.

"She's fine. Recovering." I told them as I put my bag on the floor and took a seat. We were writing a new song, and I had no idea for the lyrics.

"Okay so... What do we have?" I read over the lyrics:

I love that accent you have when you say hello
You relocated from New York a month ago
That minivan that you drive really gets me going
And if it feels like it's right
Then it can't be wrong

"That's all we got down for now." Michael said.

"I got it!" I said writing some more lyrics down.

No one understands the chemistry we have
And it came out of nowhere
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
It's not like we planned this, it's getting out of hand
And now we're gonna go there
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

"Yo, how did you even think of that oh my god." Michael gasped. Hehe, Michael, I can be pretty clever when I want to.

It was getting pretty late and we finished the whole song so we went out. I mean, we had school tomorrow but I didn't really want to go home.

I grabbed a few beers and slipped them in. We were all pretty drunk by the time we got home.

I quietly opened the door to my room, heading inside. I went to my bathroom, my eyes blood red. I decided to go downstairs for some water.

-

Maddie's POV:

I was a little hungry, I mean staying in a room for days not eating a lot really got me hungry. So I thought, hey everyone's probably sleeping right now, so, I'm just going to...go downstairs and eat something.

Bad idea. Terrible actually. Because as soon as I went down there, I saw drunk Luke. Hella drunk.

"Mum-" he turned around, then saw me.

"What- no it's me." I looked at him.

"Oh." I walked to the fridge and opened the door. All he did was look up at me, dropping his glass after drinking from it and walked back upstairs. What a husband.

I walked back upstairs, realizing what happened had happened and there was no going back to it.

It's about time ya realized Maddie.

I really need to realize things. This is the reality and I can't really do anything about it. Life is passing. Wait, what? Whatever.

I lie on the bed, dang their bed is so comfy. Well then I fell asleep.
