Thank you guys for reading! A special thank you chapter will be posted soon and then I will mark this story as completed :)
Also, don't forget to check my other Zayn Malik fan fiction that's currently ongoing called 'East Of Eden.' Remember it's something a little different and a lot darker than Clarity so viewer discretion is advised!

•2 years later // Honolulu
It's the 6th day that I've awoke to an empty bedside. 6 days since we got into our biggest fight to date, and 6 days since he's left to who knows where doing who knows what.
Why? well, let's just say we went out one night and I got a little too crazy. I saw a girl approaching him, a seductive smile on her face. She got close to him, a little too close for my liking. All the while I went to the bathroom and on my way out, I saw the scene unfold. I saw the way he rejected her drink, the way he lightly pushed her away. He wasn't the problem, no. I knew what her intentions were, and I knew what his intentions were too. She was the problem. Insisting even after he kept rejecting her. So I got mad. My heightened emotions getting the best of me as I was close to draining her dry when my teeth were already sunk into her neck.
That was my second time almost killing a human, but the circumstances angered Zayn. He took it that I didn't trust him. I trusted him with my life. But our hot headed tempers got the best of both of us.
The past years have been so good to everyone. Mason is off to college, dad and mom came to terms with each other, Cassidy living her love story with my brother, yet here I am mourning that my fiancé isn't home.
Home.
It took us a while to settle and decide where home was. After the trip to New York, we couldn't see ourselves going back to Cali any time soon. Of course we dropped in a few times, checking up on my dad who I eventually had to tell about my vampirism, along with Zayn's.
His reaction- at first- was total rejection. One that even I didn't expect from him. Eventually, he accepted me for who I was- a whole year after me telling him. But in that year I reminded myself that he was my dad, and I loved him no matter what. So with that in mind Zayn and I traveled, everywhere.
We never expected to end up in Hawaii, where I was born for Christ sakes. But as soon as we got here, something felt different. Something felt right.
I stood, disregarding my laziness and putting on my bathing suit, walking outside on the back porch of our beach house and grabbing my surf board.
Ever since I've gotten here I can't keep myself out the waves. Whenever I find myself in the ocean, the feeling is so right and peaceful. Surfing is a form of therapy to me. The waves carry me across the water and my mind deep in the ocean.
The sun was barely rising, its rays reflecting themselves off the water as the waves built bigger and bigger farther out.
Our home was right on the sand of the beach, off the map and on a nice and somewhat secluded area. So, it didn't take me long to run in the water and climb on my board, uniting myself with the ocean.

•Third Person POV
It's been six days since Zayn has last seen the only woman he's ever loved. The woman that became his undoing. He admits he went a bit overboard as far as leaving her to her own thoughts. He craved her. His body ached for her touch, her voice. He understood why she got upset that night- even if it wasn't directed towards him. He also understands that she was intoxicated when she nearly killed that persistent human girl. But now it's all in the past and Zayn can't bare another second without Nani Akanu.
He doesn't know what to expect when he gets to their home. For the past six days, Zayn has been invading the flat of his best mate- Harry. Harry didn't mind though, Harry was a good lad, and one of Zayn's oldest friends. Harry was a lot older than Zayn, he also had a lot of patience. So when Harry would wake up every morning to his best friend passed out on his couch with his best and most expensive bottle of whiskey in one hand, he couldn't help but feel bad because he's never- in his 102 years of knowing Zayn - seen him this smitten over someone. So he told him to get off his ass and get the girl back.
So that's exactly what Zayn was doing. Zayn got off his ass- because really how much longer can he stay sane without seeing Nani? - and was now stepping off the plane in Honolulu international airport.
He took a taxi, getting out the backseat and fishing for his house keys. When he walked in, he was greeted by an eerie silence and a cold, empty house. The only sound being the waves crashing on the shore.
He dropped his duffle bag on the floor, and walked straight across the living room, opening the doors to the back porch.
He saw a friend of him and Nani's, Jason. Who was holding hands with his boyfriend Chris, both staring out into the water and talking excitedly.
Zayn approached the couple, and when he saw what the were squirming about he found himself in a state of awe.
Nani was riding the waves, as fierce as ever. Never once tipping off the edge of her surf board as she executed all kinds of flips and turns- giving Zayn the most perfect view of her perky bum.
"She's ripping it out there, yeah?" Jason said excitedly.
Zayn only nodded, still enraptured at the sight of Nani surfing on the crystal clear water. He always knew that Nani was a pro at surfing. She grew up in salt water and hitting the waves at a young age. He's seen her do it so many times but it never ceases to amaze him.
She duct dived in the water, surfacing from underneath and laying her body flat on the board as she paddled to the shore. By the time she got to the sand, Jason and Chris were long gone into the water, but not without telling Nani that she has pretty rad surfing skills.
She dug the end of her board into the sand, her eyes meeting Zayn's. She knew he was there before she even considered leaving the water. She saw him from her peripheral view.
His eyes raked her body from head to toe, the sight of her in a bikini causing his pupils to dilate.
Finally he spoke, "Nani, im sorr-"
She jumped into his arms hugging him tightly before he apologized. His arms instinctively wrapping around her small frame, kissing her forehead, cheeks, and lips.
"I'm sorry." They both said at the same time.
He laughed, and she was relived that the past was forgotten, and the only thing that mattered was now.
"It's okay." He said, before carrying her bridal style into their home.

Nani's POVZayn slept soundly, his head buried in the crook of my neck, arms wrapped tightly around me as our naked body's were covered by a thin bed sheet. I however was wide awake, reflecting on past events to present time.
It's crazy just how fast everything changes, one night after another. If you were to ask me two years ago "where do you want to end up in the future?" I wouldn't have been able to tell you.
I was always so unsure of everything. Of myself, my future, everyone around me. I was just doing what everyone else was doing. Going to college, trying to get a degree.
That is, until I met Zayn. He brought down those walls that so preciously held close to me. The ones that I so fiercely protected from crumbling down.
In a matter of months, walls that took me years to built up, Zayn had managed to bring down.
Then everything that was dark came to light. Everything that was blurred and misunderstood came more clearer than ever. All because of him, and the world he showed me.
That's exactly what Zayn did. He opened my eyes. He cleared the storm that waged within me. He gave me Clarity.
The End. ♡
