MORE THAN 200K READS ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME. SERIOUSLY. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. THANK YOU THANK YOU.

This is sort of a filler, but eh. I know y'all will still enjoy it ;)

RANT WITH ME BELOW. I KNOW I'LL FRUSTRATE YOU.

“Run,” he whispered sharply. His lips were delicately pressed to my neck, blowing cool air over one spot only.

“W-what?” I asked in horror.

“Run, babe. I’m giving you a head start. You don’t want to know what happens if I catch up to you.”

“Zayn please…”

“Run!”

Without any delays, I took off without another look back. In this case, my life depended on it.

The pathway to safety seemed never ending. The further I ran, the path seemed narrower.

Why did it have to be me out of all people? I’ve been through enough. I know I wasn’t one to appreciate the most in life, but I certainly didn’t want to die –or have the blood sucked out of me.

That’s what he wanted all of this time. He wanted to get close to me, he wanted me to let him in just so he could take me right out. So he could get what he wanted. And he was finally getting it.

Feeling like I was far enough of ahead, I felt brave enough to take one glance back, just to make sure he wasn’t close. But I couldn’t see anything. All that followed were rows of trees and thick fog.

My body slammed against something, but it wasn’t a tree. I turned quickly to look, and my worst nightmare was standing right in front of me.

“I thought I told you to you to run, but instead you look back?”

His eyes were still that hazel brown I’d grown to love, but slowly, then grew darker by the second. They were so soft, but his actions spoke otherwise. “Z-Zayn, stop… please. You’re not in the right mentality, you don’t want to do this.”

“Is that true? How do you know? After all, I did tell you I’ve been wanting to.” His steps were small, but before I knew it, he was standing right in front of me again.

There was nowhere else to run. By the time I took off, I knew he would be there right before me, knowing exactly where I’d run. It was amazing to see how an unpredictable girl like me was an open book around him.

“Now, Nani, where was I?”

“Zayn…”

My pleas weren’t enough, before I could say another word, teeth were sunk into the side of my neck, far too deep for my cries to mean a thing by this point. It was like my voice was taken from me, too. The only thing that worked were my eyes that witnessed the blood spilling down onto my clothes.
