Chapter 5: Being Ordinary isn't easy

Asl

I woke up, groaning from the pain. It must've been really bad since the last thing i could remember was when i was trying to stop Dark Grasper. 

"Dad!" I exclaimed, as that I touched the bandages around my waist. As i look around, it appears to me that i was escorted back to the Twin Tails' base, and that i was in the medical ward. 

"Hey, look who has decided to wake up." I looked to see my grandmother. She was relief that i finally woke up from my coma. 

"How long was i was asleep for?" I asked, as i sat up from the bed. Grandmother sat next to me, as she replied, "You been unconious for at least three weeks. Twoearle and the others were indeed worried about your well-being, but i gave them a reassuring gesture that you will be awaken eventually." 

"Oh." I replied, totally understanding of how i ended up in the base. Of course that the others would be worried about my safety. 

I groaned, "I totally messed up. I really thought that going through that portal without any direct plan wasn't my strong suit." 

Grandmother chuckled, "Asl, that was your first battle debut as Violet Tail. Anyone can make that mistake. It wasn't your fault." 

"True. So, i assuming that Dark Grasper got away, succeeding of capturing Dad and now that he is held prisoner. What am i suppose to do?"

Grandmother said, "Well, for starters, start going back to school. I had to make a story about you being in a vacation home with your father." 

"Going back to Yogetsu Private Academy like everything is normal? Are you insane?!?" I asked in disbelief. 

But Grandmother yelled, "Go back to school, young lady, don' t worry about being a warrior and we'll figure out everything later!" 

I yelp, "Ok!" I quickly changed into my school uniform, a white dress skirt and a brown tie-down ponytails. 

As I get walk down the street, a boy yelled out, "A little help!" 

He was in a bike, and appears the brakes were broken! "Oh, man." 

I rushed down to help and stopped it with pure force, and he pants with sweat. 

Chikao

I pant in sweat, as a girl i never met, seems to help me out. "Thanks. I think i went down too steep." 

"No problem, i was just heading towards the same direction. I never met you before, my name is Asl Mitsuka. And what's your name?"

"Chikao Ao." I replied, as that i noticed her uniform. "You go to Yogetsu Private Academy, right? I go too. It's my first year." 

"Ah, a freshmen. That's cool, i am a second year, so in a way, i'm your sempai." She said, which i chuckled at the fact. 

"Wow, i guess that you do have a point. I never thought it like that." I replied, as that we hear the bells. 

"Yikes, we need to go!" I said, as we ran as fast we could to be in class in time. 

We sat down in our seats and Asl seem to be in a daze. It was something was bothering her, as that it really was a big deal. 

I went towards her, "Hey, you seem down. What's the matter?"

"Oh, it's nothing you need to be worried about. It is a family matter." She replied as then we head to a room we never seen before. It read , "Twin-Tail Admires Club. " Asl was amazed a room like that existed. 

"Wow, a fan clubroom." She said, as that she pushed the door open. It seem to be old, since the room had been vacant for a long time. 

I asked, "How could Yogetsu Private Academy allow a room like this?" 

Asl looked around as that she discovered a old school yearbook and flip through the pages. In the pages, she stopped a picture of the club. 

To her surprise, she gasps, "That is my dad. He must've been a founder of the club back when he attended here." 

"Indeed he was. Your dad is very obsessive of Twin Tails." A voice said, which made us turn around to see a woman who seem to know Asl's father. 

"Auntie Emu? You still working here?" Asl asked. 

Emu

I heard the whole situation that happened with the Twin Tail Warriors and Soji's kidnapping, so i decided to aid with Asl's schooling while the others find a way to find Dark Grasper. 

"Auntie Emu? You still working here? She asked me, which the boy next to her, whispered, "You know her?"

"Yeah, that is the principal of Yogetsu Private Academy. She is also Erika's mother." 

"What?!?" He exclaim in shocked tone, as that is the first time he is hearing of it. "I guess that it is very strange of meeting the principal of the school. " 

I laughed at the boy's reaction, but knowing that Asl was a bit down, i ask, "Is it ok i talk to Asl alone for a bit? 

It is a girl's talk." 

The boy titled his head in confusion, as Asl said, "I will be fine, Chikao. I will see you around, ok?"

Chikao nods, as he left the room. I pulled the chair next to me, "So, i heard what all went down with Soji from the girls. 

Hard to believe that Dark Grasper is very powerful than the last time we fought her." 

Asl nods, "Yeah, but still, i really mess up big time, charging into battle mode and get critical injury isn't the smartest move." 

As i was about to reassure her, screams were yelled out, as that both of us knew exactly why. 

"Uh, why does this have to happen in a school day?!?" I asked. The girl knew that she has to go. 

She said, "Tail on!"

Soji

I was still in the crate that Dark Grasper put me in. I struggled through the rope that bids me, and that I tried calling out for help. 

"Help!" I muffled through the gag. The only thing that I could hear was just an echo of my own voice. 

"Why does this have to happen, why?" I thought in my mind, as that it was not completely fair.

I also thought about Asl. She tried to save me without hesitation, but i couldn't do a thing because i was held against my will. 

The memory of her being hurt came into mind, as that i have to keep the faith of the Twin Tail Warriors come to save me. 

As I was scared of what's to come, the sound of the door opens. "Man, getting the attributes isn't an easy task. 

Although, we manage to get some. Dark Grasper said to leave the soulless ones here, right?"

"Yeah. I do wonder why she asked us to do this job. Nothing seems special about this storage house." 

The Elemelion touched my imprisoned crate as the other one demanded, "You fool, don't touch that spefic crate! 

That one is off-limits and that is personal to our master." 

"Sorry, sorry!" 

I tried to get their attention, but they heard their master, "Have you left the storage house yet?!? We need every Elemelion out for a strategy meeting!" 

"Coming!" They replied, as that they closed the door behind them, as that i begin to think of their conversation. 

What are the Soulless Attribute, and why does Dark Grasper want with them?
