It's been a few weeks since Caleb's first tutoring session. We've had a few more since then but not much. He's been improving though. Slowly- very slowly- but it's working and that's what matters.

We've even become closer. Granted, we don't hang out every day and make friendship bracelets but we say hi and talk in class and in the halls. I don't know about you but it brings a smile to my face. Its nice to know that I'm not just a tutor to him but a friend.

We haven't done anything on my list except the skateboards though. I asked Caleb why that is. He told me that everything is put on a schedule and to not worry about it. I didn't push him about it after that.

But how can I not be worried you know. I mean no one really knows how long I have and I don't want to waste time. But I also don't want to rush it. I'll just let Caleb handle it. He seems to know what he is doing.

Its Tuesday morning and my alarm starts going off. I swear one day I'm going to slam it with a sledge hammer. But until then I just shut it off and lazily chuck it under my bed. I curl up back In a little ball to collect as much body heat as possible. Now that's its in the middle of September its been getting chillier. I love the winter don't get my wrong I just don't like it in the morning. I'm almost back to sleep when I hear my door quietly open and footsteps padding across my room. I lift my eyelids to see Adam by my window, looking at me with the most serious poker face I have ever seen. I give him a small smile thinking he wanted to say hi. But I was so wrong, cause the next thing I know he flings my window all the way open and runs out of my room. Not before grabbing my blankets and yanking them off of course. Cold, rainy wind hits my body like a tank. My body spases out as it reacts to the knife like feeling. I start to shiver like crazy.

"ADAM!!!!" I yell at him. My arms clinging to my torso as I get up and chase after him. I hear his laughter heading down the stairs. I quickly follow until I see him rushing into the kitchen. "I'm going to kill you!"

Adam runs by mom that's cooking breakfast, she looks at us confused at what's going on. Adam stands at one end of the kitchen island as I stand on the other, daring him to make his next move.

"Children, what are you doing?" My mom asks us. Adam answers before I open my mouth.

"Nothing, I just woke up the grumpy bear during its hibernation" he said smugly. My face turns red with anger.

"Shut up!" I yell.

"Make me" Adam challenges

I give a battle cry as I reach for him. He swiftly escapes my grasp as he runs into another room. I chase after him as I hear my mom chuckle to herself.

We run around the entire downstairs, him laughing and me cussing at him. Finally Adam trips over a shoe, causing him to slow down. Giving me enough time I jump onto his back and start hitting his head with my palm. He falls to the ground as I straddle his back. I stop hitting him and grab his arms.

"Apologize now!" I demand.

"Never. I will never regret my actions!" He said to me. I struggle to hold him.

"I'll drool on you!" I said in a serious threat. Knowing he doesn't like this I'll have him begging.

His eyes widen then glare at the floor "You wouldnt" he said. Almost in a pout tone.

I start to collect saliva in my mouth as Adam attempts to get out of my hold. Moving his head to avoid my weapon. It almost reaches him until he gives up. "Alright OK I'm sorry I'm sorry just don't drool on my hair" he pleads.
