I slowly lifted my eyelids from their peaceful position. My eyebrows scrunched together from the slight confusion I started to feel, not knowing where I am or how I got here.
I stood perfectly still as I took everything in.
I was at the edge of a small meadow, large pine trees surrounding it and millions of little, yellow and white daisies, my favorite, covering the ground. A warm mist rested above them as a gentle sunrise reflected off of it ever so delicately.
I looked down at my body, my feet were bare and I wore a white baby doll dress. My skin was paler then usual but it was smooth and soft. It was practically glowing. My hair was straight, full, and glossy and my body felt strong.
I felt normal
It was eerily quiet as well. The only noise I could hear was my heart beat and the occasional butterfly fluttering or a bird chirping. It was beautiful.
I closed my eyes briefly as I took a deep breath in. A small smile growing on my face and body relaxing. When I opened them again my feet started to move underneath me, carrying me to an unknown destination.
The soft soil tickled my toes as the chilly air kissed my nose. It was the most peaceful I've been in awhile. I grazed my fingertips over the tall grass and flowers wanting to feel everything.
When I reached the middle of the meadow I bent down and picked a flower every so often. Soon I was holding a little group in my hands. I started to smile some more.
Before I knew it I started twirling around. Butterflies swirled around me and I let out a soft giggle.
When the butterflies left I stopped my dancing. A strange feeling crept over me, telling me to turn around. When I did my eyes widened at the sight.
