In Highsight Bang Si Hyuk shouldn't have allowed Jungkook access to the settings of the penthouse...
Jungkook wouldn't necessarily consider himself a strict manager; in fact, he'd describe himself as the opposite. He has gone out of his way to make sure the fangers were taken care of. Any controversy online? He'd take care of. Any issues with the schedules? He'd take care of.
It baffled him that after a month and a half of working and living with the boys of BTS, they'd manage to keep up the quiet act. After Jimins sudden and very random outburst, things had become rather silent in the house. If Jungkook happened to make eye contact with one of the boys, it'd usually be a scoff or a shove past, like they were in high school, which he found mildly amusing.
He didn't interact much with the oldest, Jin, giving him the occasional text to ask for updates on the schedule or an order of food. Namjoon was required to speak cordially with Jungkook during meetings, so he didn't have to deal with him much. Though watching both of them have to be nice, the small twitch of a lip or elongated sigh always managed to entertain Jungkook.
This may have been a rough time for the fangers, but for Jungkook, this was heaven. Not only was he being paid extremely well. He got to do it in the comfort of a massive penthouse overlooking a gorgeous city. A maid cleaned his room, doing his laundry was free, and he got food and water with no bills, so to speak.
But that wasn't even the best part.
Not only did he have that, he got to have all that and boss around six unruly vampires all day.
Life was well, the boys were in check. The minor problem was the exhaustion. Jungkook had to keep up with the schedule of famous vampires, and due to that, he started to pick up on something..
He noticed it started a little over a week ago. When Hoseok had requested Jungkook to be at the dance practice, that wasn't necessarily unusual. Jungkook was asked to come way more as of late, probably in preparation for their next comeback. This was going to be a big one, and he knew soon salon appointments would start, and a video would be filmed. All of this needs to be carefully added to his already overly complicated schedule.
The weird part was how long he was there. They kept the boy overnight for sixteen hours as they had been preparing the dance for the DNA music video. Usually, Jungkook would be sent home after a couple of hours of careful watch, but instead, he sat through every unruly minute.
He would assume based on the annoyed glances from the member, and insist on his staying in the farther corner of the practice room. That they didn't want him there, so why keep him over the necessary time?
If it were a one off thing, Jungkook would have likely let it go. Assuming that, since it was his first time being a manager for a major comeback that he'd need a longer watch of the boys. Chalking it all up to that and calling it a day.
However, it only started to go downhill from there.
Being woken up to a knock from Yoongi at 4 am had him even more confused. He sluggishly rolled out of bed, assuming a staff worker might need him. Only to be surprised when he opened the door to find Min Yoongi standing there, in yellow pajamas with a pattern of pink sprinkle donuts adorning them.
"Uhm.. is the penthouse on fire..?" He grumbled, rubbing his eyes to adjust to the light of the hallway, contrasting how dark he would keep his bedroom.
The cat-eyed vampire scoffed, leaning on the doorway. "No, but we thought it'd be a good idea if you listened in on some of our recording sessions." Jungkook straightened himself up a bit, his vision finally clearing as he started to properly wake up.
