Jin's lip twitched, clearly not in the best mood. The six members of the popular group and coven sat on the couches of their penthouse dorm, the owner of HYBE Labels standing up, arms crossed, with furrowed brows and an annoyed expression that could only be rivaled by that of Jins.
Now exactly how they got there was most likely an explanation Bang Si-hyuk had already heard over and over again. "They didn't properly manage us. They couldn't handle us. They just weren't what we were looking for." The explanations were starting to get very similar as to why BTS could not keep a manager for longer than a month. Their most recent comeback Wings had their manager Kai quitting after an argument about Jimin's hair color. The constant nagging, rude behavior, and side-eyeing of the members were finally too much for the poor werewolf.
Bang Si-hyuk tried everything. Every kind of species, hybrid, werewolf, vampire, would either quit in frustration, sleep with one of the members, or worse, accidentally break a foot. They needed to be managed, but with the heavy schedules, constant style, hair changes, and interviews, Bang Si-hyuk could not keep up. He understood the coven felt intruded on by the idea of some random person living and managing them, but they couldn't go off on their own, not yet at least.
Most popular boy band in the world, the most famous coven in the world. With the way they were scarring off managers eventually, rumors would spread about the behavior they showed toward anyone who tried to manage them. They were kind to fans, the majority of staff, and stylists, and more than kind to each other, but for some reason managers were always wrong.
Bang Si-hyuk has tried nearly everything, with the exception of a human. The company owner wasn't stupid, to put a human in the lion's den was too cruel even for him. They'd chew a human up and spit them out before the first day was over, and he wasn't willing to risk it.
"That manager was one of the worst." The leader, Namjoon, spoke up. Namjoon was relaxed and leaned back in his seat with his arms crossed. He wasn't ever rude to managers, more just harsh on them, critiquing how they managed BTS in a way they couldn't necessarily complain to Bang Si-hyuk about. "Oh really?" The company owner challenged, standing tall as he asked.
"Yes, he was incredibly shaky, I assume he was just a fan. He wanted to be involved in dinners and tried to make us spend time with him. Bang Si-hyuk I think it's time we just manage ourselves, we aren't stupid." They aren't stupid, he's correct, but they are vampires. Vampires in this world are not exactly known for being likable people. He needs somebody to keep an eye on their image, and letting them run wild isn't right just yet.
"That isn't happening," the nestmate's faces were all clearly disappointed, he should've expected as much. "I will be finding you a new manager and this time, there will be consequences if I found out you scared them away. That you fed on them, or god forbid you to sleep with them again.
"That was only two times," Taehyung said holding up two fingers. "Like that made it any better Taehyung." The Hybe CEO scoffed, pinching the bridge in between his nose, developing a headache from these out-of-control vampires. In his time managing groups he had never seen one so resistant to something like a manager. They knew what they were getting into as trainees.
When he picked the members, he didn't expect the six to bond so closely. He watched them go from acquaintances to friends, to lovers, to forming a coven themselves. When it was announced to the world, it wasn't a bad reaction, with fans showing outpours of love for the newly formed coven. Around that time was when they began to reject managers, in this penthouse was a room dedicated for a manager to live in, to follow the members closely. He remembered once a manager quitting just after two days due to the 'loud noise' at night.
He thought once that maybe if he brought in a girl to manage them, it might be more comfortable for them. It made it worse, she became best friends with them and ended up quitting cause she felt bad forcing them to do things they didn't want to. He also had a manager quit because of the amount they had to stay up. To not only go with the members to events but also answer calls, go to modeling gigs, plan their schedules, and make sure the members have enough food in the penthouse all were things the manager was responsible for.
