I had just sat down with Sora and Poof when Toboe burst in. "I wanna go on an adventure!" She yelled and started running all over the place, knocking things over and whatnot.

"STOP! STOP THIS IS ALL MY MOM'S STUFF!" Poof yelled as Toby broke a small vase. They chased each other around the dorm and I buried my face in my hands, silently laughing. Peering through my fingers, I saw Sora sigh and make an illusion of a chocolate bar. They both scrambled to get it and ended up faceplanting in the couch. I was rolling around on the floor from laughter as I saw Toboe and Poof staring disdainfully at me. I took a huge breath in and tried to regain my composure.

"Maybe we can go on an adventure for today and the weekend," Sora suggested. I nodded, still grinning, and Poof and Toboe agreed too. So we set off to the courtyard and jumped the fence.

"So where do you guys wanna go?" I asked the group.

Everyone shrugged except for Poof. "Well," she began hesitantly. "I'd like to visit a mountain...to see what I can do as an ice elemental..."

Sora and Toboe agreed, and uneasily I considered the fact that it would sap my powers...but I shrugged and agreed anyways. "Let's go!" I climbed the fence along with Poof and Sora, and Toboe turned into a dog and dug under the fence. We met up at the edge of the fence and started walking along.

We passed biome after biome, plains and meso and forests and swamps until we came across a desert. I could already feel the heat starting to rise and I bounced around in glee. Fire spread across my arms and I heard a thump.

"POOF!" Sora screeched. Poof was lying facedown in the sand. (A/N You faceplanted twice in one hour Poofy) I rushed over, extinguishing my flames, and tugged at her arm. Toboe and I picked her up and we traveled through the desert. A mountain lied before us. The atmosphere started getting thinner as we climbed higher, and the air was getting colder.

"Sora...I need to...warm up..." I stuttered, handing Poof over to my other comrade. Sora nodded and took Poof. She and Toboe climbed up the mountain as I shivered in the cold. My arms lit up in flames and I staggered through the snow. I'm a survivor...I thought to myself, trying to keep going. No such luck. I collapsed in the snow, shaking. My fire blew out and my feet were going numb. "Please..." I whispered, my jaw chattering. "Somebody help me..." Snow spiraled down onto me and I lay there in the wind, cold, desperate, and alone.

*Seto's POV*

I was reading an enchantment book when I felt that something wasn't right. "Jet," I called to my much-disliked roommate.

"What," he sighed, looking up from the book he was reading.

"Do you feel like something's up?" I murmured uneasily.

"Nah," his eyes averted to his book and he started reading again.

The feeling lingered in my gut, so I walked into the courtyard for some air. I watched a bird as it landed near the fence, but noticed something odd. The dirt around the fence was kicked up, almost like something had burrowed under. My brow furrowed as I went over everyone's powers. River: water...Dusty: earth...Poof: Ice...Sora: illusions...Ember: fire...Jet: ink/darkness...Toboe. Toboe could shapeshift, and she probably dug down through the fence as a wolf or something. All the other girls must've came with her. I sighed and climbed over the fence, following more clues with the hope that I'd find where they were.

After a while, Seto came across a desert. There were cuffs in the sand and scorch marks on cacti, so I assumed that Ember had embraced her powers. There was a mountain in the distance, so I decided to make that my target of where to look for them. I sprinted across the desert, a light sheen of sweat coating my face.

When I reached the foot of the mountain, I paused to wipe my brow with my cloak. Then I started the climb. About halfway up, I heard whimpers. Mental facepalm.

*Ember's POV*

With my fading vision, I saw a purple and white shape with hints of brown rush towards me. "Ember," it called. I feebly reached for the shape, and I felt myself being lifted out of the snow. At this point I frankly didn't care who was carrying me down the mountain. I passed out of his shoulder and let him take me to wherever.

When I woke up, I saw dunes of sand and felt much better. I sat up and saw Seto sitting on a rock. "Um, hi," I blushed and stood up, brushing off my dress. Seto waved and also got up. "Oh, uh, thanks for rescuing me..." I smiled awkwardly. "Poof, Sora, and Toboe are up there. I need to help them!" I suddenly remembered and dashed towards the mountain.

"Whoa, there, you think you're gonna make it up there? You passed out halfway last time!" Seto protested. I stubbornly turned my head up and walked towards the mountain. "Okay, okay, just let me come with you!"

I grinned and raced up the mountain. Thoughts ran through my head. What if there's trouble? What if they can't carry Poof to the top? What if Poof wasn't unconscious and she's...I shook off the dark thoughts and focused on running up the mountain. As it got steeper, the air got colder and the snow thicker. I lit myself on fire and pushed on, Seto behind me.

"If you need to go back we can always do that..." He asked every five minutes. I always declined and survived through the snow. We passed the mark where I had fallen and abruptly it started snowing. I shuddered and Seto took off his cloak again. "It's fireproof," he answered the question swimming in my head. I thanked him quietly and put it on. The cold lessened slightly and we powered our way to the top.

As we reached the top, Seto's arm around me, we saw Poof, Toboe, and Sora standing beneath a huge ice demon. Toboe looked behind her and saw us, so she rushed towards me. "Hey! What an adventure, right?" She grinned breathlessly. "Where'd he come from? Anyways, that's not important," she shook her head as I began to explain. "We're fighting an ice demon if you guys wanna help." I staggered forward and nodded, my hands weakly sparking. "You know what, maybe you should warm up," Toboe reconsidered. She sprinted back into battle. Seto ans I huddled together, both setting ourselves on fire in an effort to get me battle ready.

*Poof's POV*

I formed a spear of ice and stabbed at the demon. The chinks of its armor were hard to find, but I luckily stabbed one. The demon roared and swung its war hammer directly at me. It hit me, and before I knew it I'd become one with the ice in the hammer. I burrowed my way up and into the demon's face, where I quickly became human and stabbed it in the throat. The demon roared in agony and a huge fireball hit its face just as I jumped off. The demon fell apart and we all ran. "Just slide down!" I yelled to Ember and Seto, who were behind the rest and being pursued by a huge chunk of ice. They obeyed--everyone did--and we all were jostled down to the bottom. There was a platform of rock directly below us, and we all hit our heads and went unconscious.
