*THIRD PERSON POV*

Seto averted his eyes and backed away, the fire in his palms extinguishing. Jet advanced on him. "Well? Are you?"

"Yes! I'm an Ender Sorcerer! But you don't judge Ember on her heritage! There are lots of different hybrids in this school, and you only care about ME!" he ranted and dashed to the door. Seto burst out. He ran out of the room and into the corridor.

Jet's father was a bounty hunter. He killed Enders for a living, employed by Notch for "the greater good of Minecraftia". Of course, Notch was sitting in his castle in Pixellaria, doing nothing but ordering the non-player humans around and creating a safe haven for the players.

Anyways, Ender Sorcerers were for the highest price, and Seto was already a criminal in the eyes of the king (500$, Wanted Dead or Alive). Now that this information was uncovered, he'd be wanted for over 10,000$. Jet whipped out a phone and dialed a number swiftly. "Hey Dad...yeah, an Ender Sorcerer...Seto...okay, sure." Jet frowned as he was put on hold. Abruptly the music stopped. "...hey Uncle Notch."

...~Meanwhile~...

Ember and Toboe chatted as they made their way to the courtyard to look at the stars. "What can you do?" Ember asked her friend.

"Well, my mom is a who-knows-what hybrid, a chain of animals, as her family has been mating with different animals for generations, and my dad is Ste-I mean, he's a human. I can--," she paused and a wolf appeared in her shape, "--shapeshift."

"WHAT! That's epic!" She grinned. Of course, Toboe asked Ember what she could do. Ember's palm lit up with fire. "I'm a witch-blaze-human hybrid, so I can do magic," she tossed her fireball to the other hand, created two more, and started juggling, "with fire."

Toboe's eyes lit up in awe, but she disguised it with a teasing smirk. "Didn't your parents tell you not to play with fire?"
Just then they heard high pitched giggling. "Wait here," Toboe muttered. She turned into a wolf and slunk away, melting into the shadows.

*Toby's POV*

I kept to the darkness, looking for any kind of disruption. Just as I was about to declare it a product of some weird girly girl slumber party, I saw a pink-clad, blonde haired supermodel valley girl person and her cheerleader goonies. "S-O-R-Tiiiiiilla! Sortiiiilla tortiiiiilla!" The cheerleaders waved their pom-poms and cartwheeled around, ending with a split.
"So, Sortilla, like, what did you bring me today?" The valley girl said, stuffing her face in the smaller girl's face. "Tell me, since I'm, like, all up in your, like, grill, now!"

"OHHHHHH!" The cheerleaders jumped unnaturally high.

I heard a familiar voice. "You've got a punch in the face!"

I heard a sharp crack as the valley girl doubled over. I adjusted and behind the wall was Ember, staring defiantly at the idiots prancing around and protecting the smaller girl. Ember's lip was curled as she glared at the 3 goonies. "Like, what the hell did you, like, do to me!" The valley girl screamed, her voice nasal now that her nose was gushing blood.

"I punched you "all up in yo grill, gurl"!" Ember yelled. The small girl got up and rushed over to where I was. I shapeshifted back.

"Hi."

"Oh, hello," she replied, strangely calm. "I'm Sora."

"Toboe."

"Who in the name of Notch is that?" She pointed to Ember, who had just slid under the pyramid of cheerleaders and pushed them over.

"That's meh roomie, Ember."

*Ember's POV*

I saw the valley girls taunting some nerd girl, and I had to help her. So while Toboe spied, I came over to one and punched her in the face. The girl ran off and I toppled the leader's towered minions over. I walked in the general direction of the girl. I was surprised to see Toby chatting with her. She had silky, caramel brown hair that reached her waist, a T-shirt with a cat with glasses, jeans, and large, square glasses that magnified her eyes. "Hi," I greeted, panting.

"Salutations. I'm Sora." She blinked slowly at me, no signs of a smile on her face.

"Um...nice poker face," I cracked a smile. She just stared.

"Tough crowd," I muttered audibly to Toby.

"Technically one person isn't a crowd," the ghost of a smile lingered on Sora's lips. We walked back inside, completely forgetting to check out the sky. "So, you guys wanna meet my roommate? Her name's Poof."

"Sure," Toboe and I said in unison. We walked into the room.

It was coated in ice. My skin began to tingle and black spots danced across my eyes. "Poof! Can you please get the temp up?!" I heard Sora call. Her voice was muffled. I felt my body begin to sway.

"Sorry!" a voice yelled back. Just as I was about to topple over, my vertigo disappeared and the black spots faded. "You had us worried!" A small, round face poked into mine.

"Aaugh! I mean, sorry, I don't do well in cold temperatures," I jerked back and then smiled weakly.

"Heh, I don't do well in warm." Poof was very pale. She had shoulder length platinum blonde hair, with a sheen of bluish-silver. She had a light silver tank top and a dark grey skirt. She also had big, eye-magnifying glasses.

"Sooo...I'm Ember, and this is Toboe." I introduced my friend and I.

"Well, I see you already know who we are," Poof gave me a little half smile.

"Right. So I see you have...ice powers?"

"That's right!" A flurry of snowflakes fluttered around in Poof's palm. Abruptly I held out my hand and flames crackled on my palm. "Aw sweet! My counterpart!" We high fived with our hands that were alight in magic and they both fizzled out. But not before there was a tiny explosion sending us flying backwards. Seto would be proud...a non-messy explosion for once!

"Oh, Sora, what's your power?" Toboe broke the silence.

"In addition to being super smart," at this Sora grinned, "I'm an illusionist." She grabbed a penny from the dresser, clasped her palm around it, blew on her hands, and opened them. A bunch of flying flowers flew out and exploded into confetti.

"Wow!" I clapped enthusiastically. Suddenly we heard the sound of someone running. Being the curious girl I am, I was bound to investigate.

*facepalm*
