After Herobrine disappeared, Professor Oriffizor released class for the entire day...he must've needed to talk to the other employees about Herobrine's sudden appearance. I raced after Toboe, who was hurrying down the hall. "Toby, wait!" I called. She whipped around and cried, "What?!"
"What's up with you and Herobrine?" I asked gently. Toboe turned away, but I pulled her shoulder and she rotated back slowly, like a robot. She sighed and began the story.

"One day, I was walking along a river, looking for a good spot to fish. I found one, and it was taking a while for a fish to be reeled in so I crafted a chair and fell asleep on it.
"When I awoke, I was no longer on the banks of the river. I was in a bedroom. The walls were painted a light crimson and the floor was black carpet...unlike my room. I uneasily walked out of the bedroom into a magnificent corridor in a mansion. I looked out the window and shivered...the Nether. There were blazes, zombie pigmen, magma cubes, and wither skeletons patrolling outside. As I took steps forward, my footsteps echoed. This must be one big mansion, I thought nervously. This place was giving me the chills.
"Suddenly a white flash exploded across the room. I covered my eyes, and when I looked again, there was a tall man in sunglasses leaning against the wall. 'Who're you?' I asked.
" 'I'm the owner of this mansion,' the strange man told me gravely. I narrowed my eyes at him, naturally suspicious.
" 'Right, Mr...?' I tried to get a name out of him.
"As if reading my thoughts, the man chuckled. 'However hard you try, you're not getting a name out of me.' He walked over to me and tapped the underside of my chin.
"I slapped his hand away and yelled, 'How do I get out of this place?' My voice exploded across the room, and several more 'how do I get out of this place?'s echoed.
" 'Feisty...there is no way out. Unless I let you out...which I'll never do," he chuckled again. With this the man walked away. My face blazed in fury and I stormed into my room and slammed the door. I barely made it to my pillow until I started screaming curse words.
"When I finished my rage-session, I touched my face and found it wet with angry tears. Then I realized...the man may never let me out...I'll never see my family...everything is lost. I broke down and sobbed, falling to my knees and curling up into a ball.
"The next day, I found a plate of food at my door. I wiped off the tear stains and sat down on the magnificent bed and started to eat, careful to spill as much as I could on the platter. I also dumped a portion of my drink on it when I was through. I tried to open the door but it was locked. I grit my teeth and turned into an iron golem. I punched through the door and dumped the contents of my breakfast into the hallway. In a mad fury, I started wrecking everything in my room. I shifted back, panting, and I lay against the wall.
"This happened every day for countless weeks, until I was fed up with it. One day when the food arrived, I turned into a silverfish and tried to squirm through the crack. Obviously Herobrine had replaced the door and enchanted it so I couldn't punch through it, and I'd been starving myself just to get skinny enough to get through. This time, I popped through the crack. I could barely contain my excitement. I pulled the tray back through the slit and wolfed down the breakfast.
"Considering endermen are some of the quietest creatures in Minecraftia, I shifted into one and padded across the hallway, not making a noise in the highly echo-able (A/N I made that up, yes) hallway. I entered a room and began navigating the maze until I saw a portal. With highly trained guards and the man himself. I shivered and ran back to the room, worrying he'd know if I teleported, and grabbed a knife from the platter. We'd have to fight. When I came back to the room, I shifted back and strode in.
" 'How did you escape?!' He roared, whipping around as he caught sight of me.
" 'I have my ways,' I replied smugly. 'Now kindly step away from the portal.' The man ran towards me, and in the process his sunglasses fell off. They were a blazing white, and Imust have fainted or something because I remember waking up after a few seconds in his arms. 'You're Herobrine...' I breathed. Inwardly I cursed myself for being such a...how do I say this age-appropriately...an idiot. Duh, it's Herobrine's mansion! We're in the Nether, it's huge, I'm not allowed out of it--or allowed out of my room for that matter.
"I slapped his hands away once I recovered from my astonishment and glared at him. If white, glowing, pupil-less eyes could look sad, he did it. 'I...I don't want to hurt you...' He said quietly. 'But you need to stay here.'
" 'Why?!' I screamed. 'Why do I need to stay here when you're such a monster?!'
"Herobrine's sword clattered to the ground. He rushed off, and I wondered what got him so upset. 'Wait," I called and hurried after him. 'Wait!'
" 'What?' He stopped but didn't turn around to face me.
" 'Why are you so worked up about this?' I touched his shoulder lightly. His hand flashed up and grabbed mine.
" 'Because...I love you.'
"This sent me into a rant. 'Herobrine, we just met. You locked me in a room and saw me for about 5 minutes! How can you love me already?' So he told me. He'd been watching over me for the past 15 years, and decided it was time for me to come with him into his mansion. Of course, Herobrine has about 0 social skills and kidnapped me without asking for my consent first. He let me out a few minutes later, but made me promise that I would let him come for me if anything fatal happened. And apparently something just did. So yeah. My story of how I met Herobrine."

I was speechless. "Did...did he ever kiss you?"
Toboe shrugged. "I don't think so...but maybe in my sleep, 'cuz he's kind of a creepy stalker sometimes..." She trailed off. I knew this was a difficult subject for her, so I left her alone and walked into the dorm, thinking. I had a lot of time to burn, since we had no classes till the end of the day...maybe we'd have some fun with the others.
