Chapter 15 |Goodbye Hollow Waters|

//Bradley//

"Sabrina?"

She stares at me....honestly I'm terrified right now.

"You need to leave" she says looking away

"No. I'm gonna stay right here until you tell me what's going on" I demand

"Bradley leave" she gets louder "you're not safe right now"

I walk closer to her and she walks back.

"Please" I beg

Her eyes fills with anger and they glow even brighter "LEAVE"

I finally give in and just walk away. When I turn back, she was gone.

He knows. He doesn't know exactly but...he's pretty much does

Gosh I'm so stupid. What is my problem?

As I continue to walk and clear my mind, my hunger vanishes.

I take a few breaths and then turn back, working my way to the house.

I hear a loud scream. A scream full of pain and torture.

Bradley's scream.

I run to find him. Using my senses, within seconds I'm next to him.

I see Colton standing over him, wiping blood from his face. Colton is the man who changed me.

Bradley is lying there, I notice the bite mark in his arm and him suffering as the venom runs through his veins.

Anger fills my body "What did you do?!"

"We need him Sabrina."

"No" I cry "make it stop"

"I had to do-"

"TELL ME HOW TO STOP IT. PLEASE"

He gives me a look and leaves.

I pace around crying. He can't change...I can't let him live like this.

Then I remember what Hailee said before about sucking the venom out.

I drop to my knees and bring his arm up to my mouth.

I sink my fangs into the wound and try my best to get it all out.

"Sabrina that's enough. You're done...it's all out" I hear a voice

Who? I don't know.

I couldn't stop. My first taste of human blood. His blood...the blood I've been craving since I came back here.

"Sabrina you're gonna kill him. Stop"

//Bradley//

I woke up in a plain room. A hospital room.

There is a bandage on my wrist and a single IV in my hand. I feel really lightheaded. I have no idea how I got here.

"He's awake" I hear a faint whisper

"Can I go in" another voice chimes in

"Sure"

Sabrina enters the room and my heart races when I see her.

She runs to me and squeezes me tightly.

"I'm so sorry Bradley. Please forgive me"

I look at her confused "why are you sorry"

"This is all my fault" she points to my arm

"Yeah what happened here"

"You..Don't know what happened? What is the last thing you remember"

I think hard "I remember going to your house and seeing some guy kiss you. I got mad and left. That's it."

"Oh...you saw that. Bradley I don't like him. I like you... I love you. And I know you sent those notes. They are super sweet"

I blush...wow she made me blush.

I grab her tiny hands "I was gonna wait until Sunday but...Sabrina Carpenter will you he my girlfriend"

//Sabrina//

He asked. Wow ...he really asked.

I want to but...he's not safe with me.

"I'm sorry Bradley... I love you too much to do this to you"

"Do what"

"Put you in danger. You'd be in danger...if I was with you" I swallow "I don't think we need to see each other anymore...at all"

"Sabrina please" he tears up "don't do this"

"I'm sorry" I kiss his cheek "bye Bradley"

I give him one last smile and walk out.

I need to leave. I have to make sure he's safe. And maybe leaving will put him out of danger. I can't risk his life because of what I am.

I'm doing this for him and only him.

Goodbye Hollow Waters. I don't know when...or if I ever will be back.
