Clouds caught in the first rays of the sunset passed around the plane as we slowly descended into the party city of Florida; Miami. From the view up high, I could see highways, buildings, and vehicles, but no waterways like in Amsterdam. America is definitely different from Denmark, and Europe all together.

Martin was still asleep across the aisle from me, but I couldn't wake him up after we spent all last night DJ at different party scenes. I was still tired myself and a little hungry, but excitement to see a world I've never seen before kept me awake the last three hours of the flight.

Another friend of Martin and mine sat in front of me and I've been watching him mixing and creating music since we've gotten on the private jet. Julian Jordon is a fellow DJ/producer that I've know since we met at Spinnin' Records. He's fun, charming, and interesting to be with. Julian is like Martin in many ways.

"Hey, we'll be landing soon." I said to Julian as I leaned forward and grabbed his attention. He took off his headphones and smiled at me as he closed his laptop.

"Good, I really need to get up and stretch out." He said looking over at the silently sleeping figure of our friend Martin and containing a yawn of his own.

"I got him," I said moving away from the window and to the aisle seat where I tapped Martin's bicep lightly. "Martin, wake up. It's time for Ultra." Coaxing him out of his slumber was harder than I thought. "Get up, Garrix or we will leave on this plane."

Martin's eyes fluttered open to reveal his soft brown hues as he smiled at me and Julian. I got out of my seat and grabbed my stuff in the overhead carrier above Martin. Taking my own signature headphones, I slipped them around my neck and plugged them into my phone.

"Ultra is going to be fucking amazing tonight," Martin said grabbing his own stuff and settling down with it till the plane landed. "I've always been wanting to play with you guys."

Julian looked over at me and I did the same as we both gave each other a look of 'why didn't you tell him?' Supposedly, Julian had plans to play at another place in Miami at the same time as Martin went on at Ultra.

"Well, Martin, the thing is," I started then stopped, thinking that I wasn't the one ditching my friend to play at a local club. "I'm probably more excited than you." Giving him a smile and a laugh, I situated myself back into my seat.

"Hey, Julian, are you gonna play your fans a new track tonight?" Martin asked the brunette as he sifted in his seat uncomfortably. I coughed and looked at Julian to wait for him tell Martin the truth.

"Hell yeah! Gotta give the fans what they want, am I right?" He exclaimed as he gave Martin a handshake that I always find so complicated. "What about you two? Got some new shit to show the world?"

"You know what, I think it's time to release our complication together. It'll be sick with both of our fan bases all there at one festival," I explained as the seatbelt light came on above our seats. "We've been hiding it for quite awhile. Got to set it free at one point."

Julian chuckled and buckled up as the turbulence hit the plane and made me grab at the armrests. Martin set his hand on my shoulder to reassure me and buckled himself up as I struggled to contain fear and excitement from fighting with one another.

"Have you seen Julian anywhere?" Martin asked me as he entered the small hotel room that'll be functional for half a night. "I've tried his cell since I lost him."

"You didn't lose him, Martin," I said rolling my eyes and fixing my bandana around my head in the mirror. "He's probably just exploring the rich cultural of America." He snorted and looked at my own phone set on the sink.

Of course Julian didn't tell Martin he was leaving us to go and play a shitty club by the beach, he's not a real friend. Taking a hair tie from my wrist, I placed my brown and platinum hair into a high ponytail on my head.

"I'll call him," Martin replied as he set my phone back down and walked into the bedroom with worry on his face. "And if Julian doesn't answer we'll go on without him."

"Wait, Martin, I should have told..." I said stepping out of the bathroom and looking at his back as he stared out the large window looking over palm trees and traffic jammed streets. He was quiet and his breathing was low as his leaned against the glass.

Silence filled the air as I walked forward and placed my hand on his hunched back. Martin shrugged it off and looked at me desperately in the reflect, wishing that I would tell him something that would please him.

"Did you know?" He asked under his breath. A quizzical look crossed my face, but soon disappeared once I realized what he was talking about. "Did you know?" He asked again, but filled with more anger.

"It wasn't my job to tell you that Julian wasn't going to..." I was stopped short as Martin turned around and gave me a look of rage and infuriation that made me want to hug him and fix everything wrong.

"I don't care about that!" Martin yelled at me but calmed down again as he pressed his lips against one another. "Did you know?" The words were stressed as they climbed up his throat and escaped his mouth.

"Y-yes," I said disappointedly. Martin huffed out his breath and clenched his hands tightly till his knuckles turned white. "But, know that I'm here with you till the end. We don't need Julian. You don't need Julian."

"I don't need you!" He cried out as his hands came up into the air, so closer to my face. "You would have never told me! I knew you always liked Julian more!" Setting my hands on his forearms, I tried to put his arms by his side.

"Martin, that's not true at all. Julian is the one that can't take care of his own business, and I," I paused and looked into his rage filled eyes. "I can take care of myself without hurting others."

Martin was clam now, but the anger was still radiating off of him. My eyes scanned his face as I waited for any kind of a response from him. Silence filled the room once again as we stared at each, hoping that the other wasn't lying.
