Cheers and clapping sounded from the fans amongst the crowd out in the grassy field in front of the main stage at Ultra as I stood backstage with Martin and my management crew. Excitement washed over me again as well as fear, bringing me to breath deeply and close my eyes tightly.

"Are you good, Rain?" I heard Jared, my manager, ask me as he placed a hand on top of my shoulder. "Drink? Anything?" Opening my eyes and giving him a smile, I shook my head.

Five minutes till Martin and I climb on stage and preform in front of all our loyal and amazing fans. Martin was still angry at me and I tried my hardest to fix it on the ride over to the festival, but he wouldn't budge as I kept persisting for him to forgive me.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted Julian standing off to the side, waiting for Martin or me to notice him. Julian has quite a nerve showing up here after breaking Martin's trust for me and making me feel like it was all my fault. Taking in another deep breath, I made my way over to Julian without Martin noticing my absence.

"What the hell?!" I yelled silently as I jabbed my finger into his chest. "You better leave before Martin sees you standing here and realizes I'm not over there right now!" I removed my finger and crossed my arms over my chest.

"How mad is he?" Julian asked sullenly as he looked over my shoulder at Martin's back turned away from us. Julian seemed really upset and sad, but I knew it was all just an act.

"Martin blames everything on me. That's how mad and angry he is." I replied as we both knew Martin, our friend, would never yell at me or Julian. We all are, or were, so close as a group that we knew not to piss one another off.

Julian's face contorted in a deep frown and sorrowful eyes that locked on the black and scratched floorboards we stood on. I am that kind of person who cannot see a person upset and not help them, so I rolled my eyes and placed my hand on Julian's shoulder.

"Say you're sorry," I said moving in to give Julian a hug. "After the show." Julian wrapped his arms around me to take the hug and fix everything that was wrong between us.

"Of course," He said pulling away and giving me a small smile. "Have fun and do great out there, Rainn." Julian left the backstage area as I turned around and walked over to stand next to Martin by the stairs leading onto the stage.

"What'd he say?" Martin asked quietly as Jared rushed by holding up a single finger, signaling one minute until stage time. "I know you were talking to Julian. I just want to know what you were saying to him."

"Um, well, I said that you are really angry at him and so torn apart and upset by what he did," I said as Martin looked over at me glumly. "He's going to apologize. I'm making him." I smiled lightly and he smiled back.

The crowd outside was getting louder as the seconds ticked down to showtime and I became more anxious and excited. Martin was too, I could tell, as he shook his hand and bit at his bottom lip nervously, one of his many signs of nervousness.

"I'm sorry," I said above the roaring crowd. Martin turned his attention over to me with a questioning look on his face. "For anything I've done to you." Giving him a hug, I bounded up the stairs.

Let's get this party started.
