Chapter 8
I dreamt that Bill and I were married and were having fun with our children. They were the same but a little bit older than the last time. It was Christmas and the kids were opening their gifts. Alexander received a couple action figures and Sarina received a couple of Barbie dolls. It was the perfect scene. Bill and I were taking pictures of them with each of their presents that they opened up. I noticed that Alexander had my eyes and Bill’s hair. He also had my nose and Bill’s perfect lips. Sarina on the other hand had Bill’s eyes and my hair. She had the same nose as Bill and the same lips as me. It was like looking at the boy version of me and the girl version of Bill. They were so adorable. I looked at Bill and smiled. He smiled at me and looked back at the kids. Our kids. We were looking at our kids that we made together. We made them with love and passion. I helped them open a big present for the both of them. It was a tent for the backyard so that we could stay there together. My alarm clock went off waking me from my dream. It had felt so real, I could clearly hear Alexander laugh with Sarina. I fell in love with my kids that were only a dream. I sighed as I hit the off button on the alarm clock. I opened my eyes and looked up at Bill. His eyes were open and looking back at me.
“Good morning, love,” he whispered to me.
“Good morning. I had another dream about us,” I whispered back to him.
“What happened this time?”
“We were married again and watching Alexander and Sarina open up their Christmas presents.”
“Who are Alexander and Sarina,” he chuckled.
“Well in the other dream, they were our kids and the same in this one,” I sighed.
“You must really, really love me in order for that to happen.”
“Yeah, Alexander had your hair and lips, and my eyes and nose. Sarina had my hair and lips, and your eyes and nose. They were so real Bill; I’m starting to think I’m going further insane.”
“Further insane?” Bill looked at me questioningly.
“Stop fooling yourself, you and I both know that I’m insane in a good way,” I teased him.
“I know, and I don’t think that. I just think your brain is thinking way too far into the future.”
“Okay, now we have to get ready to go to Hawaii.” We got up and got ready, he and I getting changed in separate rooms. He left to finish up his suitcases and to help Tom out. I finished by adding my bathroom supplies and make-up box. I went downstairs with the remaining suitcase and decided to spend the day with my family. This proved to be boring. Amy had a friend over and Kristen was at work, so was my dad. My mom was no fun and had me watching TV when we could be in the pool. We watched today’s General Hospital and some shows on TLC. Dad came home around five and we went to Bill’s to get going. The car was loaded and had enough room for more. We arrived there and got the twins with their things. Then we headed for the airport. The drive was on the lengthy side and silent. When we got to the airport we gave our bags over to the luggage people. Tom, Bill, and I said our goodbyes to my parents and headed towards our gate. I had a feeling this was going to be awkward for Tom.
Our flight began to board two minutes after we got there. We found our seats and sat down. I had my carry-on with my cell phone and iPod Touch in it with me. Bill gave me the window seat and as you can guess, Tom got the aisle seat. Figures that would happen. I took out my iPod and started listening to music. The plane soon took off and we were in the air. I also fell asleep listening to my iPod. I woke up to Bill telling me we were there. I didn’t dream of anything this time. I followed the twins out and to the coach bus that would take us to our hotel. Our suitcases are supposed to be at our rooms when we get there. The bus ride was quick and we were there at the hotel. We were led to our rooms and we entered them. Mine was so beautiful. It had the most gorgeous bed spread. Everything matched. It was my Hawaiian paradise. I went over to Bill and Tom’s room to check it out. It was just as beautiful. I couldn’t believe this.
