Chapter 9
The past month has been fun. Bill and I decided that it would be best if I bond with the boys since I am going on tour with them. So for the past month I’ve been hanging out with them and as it turns out, Tom and Gerhard aren’t complete asses. They are actually pretty funny when they aren’t showing off. Every once in a while they would slip into German to make sure I couldn’t understand what they were saying. I have also had the opportunity to hear Bill sing in German. He sounds just as godlike as he does when he sings in English. Right now we are getting ready for the first show of the tour and then we are off to the next location. I get to hear them do a concert and without all the arguing that comes with their practices. They are finished and they have already done the dress rehearsal. Now they have to do a sound check. Gregor is testing out his drums and they sound good. Gerhard is playing his bass and that sounds normal, the same goes for Tom’s guitar. Bill took the microphone and sang about how he loves me. The microphone surely works. I heard that so loud that they had to turn down his microphone. They did so and then we were done until the concert actually started. Bill walked over to me and sat down on the couch that I currently inhabited. I was on my laptop taking my online classes already.
“What are you doing,” he asked ever so childishly.
“Getting a head start on my college education,” I said without looking away from the computer screen.
“That’s boring. Why don’t you take a break and spend time with your boyfriend before the show?”
“You know that I love you just as much as my schoolwork, right?”
“Yes, so?”
“So, I am torn at which I should do and just think, the sooner I finish my online classes, the sooner I will get to spend all of my time with you.”
“I know but for the first show can you do me this one favor?” I looked at him and saw the puppy dog face. I always cave when I see those pouting lips. I looked back at the screen and saved my spot in my class. I quickly shut my laptop and set it aside. I turned to Bill and saw his satisfied expression.
“Come here you adorable puppy dog,” I said as I pulled his lips to mine. He smiled on my lips and then we kissed. We playfully kissed each other for a few minutes before we broke apart and cuddled on the couch. Tom entered not a minute later.
“Please, no lovey-dovey stuff while I’m in the room,” he said covering his eyes. Wow, I didn’t think he could get even more immature. I stand corrected. Well, I don’t physically stand corrected but metaphorically I do. I was then pulled out of my thoughts by laughter. I looked at the twins and saw them laughing at me.
“I said that out loud, didn’t I,” I asked the peanut gallery.
“Yes, you did. Do you talk like that to yourself a lot because I haven’t seen you do that before,” Bill laughed.
“Actually, I sometimes have conversations with myself. Sometimes both sides are aloud, or both are in my head. There are even times when half the conversation is aloud.” I was being completely honest. I mean, he is my boyfriend and my best friend so I should be able to tell him anything and be accepted. Both boys were laughing harder.
“Boy, are you a keeper. Bill keep her and don’t let go ’cause she is so funny,” Tom cackled. I frowned. Bill noticed my expression and sobered up a little.
“Tom, I think she is serious about that,” Bill defended me. Tom choked a little on his laughter.
“She was serious about that?!”
