The tour is finally over and I’m back at home. It’s been so long since we have slept in our own beds, it feels great. The guys loved their Christmas presents I got them and I was in awe by their amazing gift picking abilities. Bill got me the best gift of all; a maternity dress. I hugged him so much out of gratitude. Anyways, we have been home for six months. It’s the end of June and my birthday had been awesome. Bill showered me in maternity gifts. When we got back, we sat down with our parents and discussed the arrangements for when the baby comes. We decided that Bill and I should buy a house to move into with the baby after he or she comes. If it is twins, we will just have to buy another crib when the time comes. Bill and I have been house hunting and have had no such luck. Each house we look at is either not big enough or not small enough. We agreed on a medium sized house and haven’t found one yet. We also agreed on getting a house with three bedrooms for starters. It also has to have two full bathrooms, one half bathroom, a medium sized kitchen, a large living room, a large dining room, and a medium sized foyer. It doesn’t matter if it has a basement just as long as it has two floors. Bill sees eye to eye with me so we don’t argue that much.

We are on our way to see a house within our budget and close to our standards. Our real estate agent says this one should be close enough to our description that we might offer up a price. Bill pulled into the driveway of the house that we came to look at and our jaws dropped. It was huge to look at. We got out of the car and ran up to the front door. Our agent, Lisa, let us in and said that we can explore the house. We took her advice and looked around the downstairs. It had the right sized living room, dining room, downstairs bathroom, foyer, and kitchen. So far Bill and I are going to get it. We walked up the stairs and found one full bathroom so far. We found four other doors aside from the bathroom’s door. We opened the door next to it and saw a medium sized bedroom. We opened a door that was on the far right wall and it was a small walk in closet. Bill and I agreed that we would use this room as a guest room or for one of our future kids. We left that room and went to the next door we found. It opened to another medium sized bedroom. It was similar to the other one but the walk in closet was a tad bit bigger.

We then headed to the second to last door. This one opened to yet another medium sized bedroom that was identical to the room before. Bill and I decided that the first bedroom would be a guest room. We left this room to go to the last door. Bill opened it and we were shocked by what we saw. It was a large master bedroom with two doors next to each other on the far left wall. We opened them to find a huge walk in closet and the master bathroom. It was so amazing. The bathroom even had a Jacuzzi bathtub. It also had a stand up shower. The closet had enough room for both of our wardrobes and more. We agreed that as long as we have a good backyard for our kids, then we should be all set. We headed downstairs and found a door that led to the basement apparently. We looked around and agreed that it would be a great play room for the kids when they come along. We again left a room and headed up some stairs. Bill and I headed to the backyard and I was momentarily stunned. It was the same backyard from my dream! I told Bill this and he said that we are getting this house that it is final. I laughed and agreed.

We found Lisa out front and told her that we are willing to offer. She thanked us and told us that she would be in contact with us. We got into the car and drove to the doctor’s office for my baby check up. We got there in no time and signed me in at the desk. I was called in a minute later and was showed to a room. The day seems to be flying by. I got an ultrasound done and we got our first picture of the baby. We made an appointment for two months from now and were on our way to lunch with the family. We made it our new family tradition to have lunch with each other on Sundays. We arrived at the restaurant and found everyone waiting for us. They said it was okay and that they were just early. We sat down and got situated. It was a fast lunch and we updated everyone on the baby. We also told them about the house as well. All of them were happy for us. I ate a lot of food for me and the baby. I looked down at my stomach and noticed that it is really big. It’s like I’m eleven months along instead of eight. Dang, my stomach is huge. Maybe it is going to be twins. I can’t wait for my next appointment.
