Chapter 3

“Okay mom, I will make sure that they won’t even lay a finger on her if that will make you happy.”

“Good.”

We arrived at their house a couple moments later and got out. Bill went upstairs and got himself ready while I sat on the couch in the living room. My cell phone said it was nine thirty. Twenty-five minutes later, Bill appeared downstairs, showered, dressed and eye shadow done. I was surprised that he didn’t have his hair done. A few seconds later there was a knock at the front door and someone shouting “I’ll get it.” A couple more seconds later Bill was pulling me into their garage. He sat me down on a couch and introduced Tom’s friends to me.

“This one with the brown hair is Gerhard and is also the one my mother wants you to stay away from. And this is Gregor.” Bill pointed each boy out to me.

“So Bill, is this your friend whose house you ended up sleeping over at,” Tom inquired.

“Yes and her name is Sienna,” Bill introduced me finally.

“Hi Gerhard, Gregor and Tom. It’s nice to meet you all,” I greeted the boys trying to enunciate Gerhard’s name.

“It’s nice to meet you, too, Sienna. Please try to ignore my brother from now on and focus your attention on me instead,” Tom flirted.

“I’m sorry but I’m not interested in players, Tom,” I said shocking everyone in the room.

“Bill, I like this girl. You should keep her around.”

“Fine by me as long as I don’t get stuck alone in a room with you.” Again everyone in the room was shocked at my words. I just smiled at Bill.

“Okay let’s show her what we’ve got guys and girl,” Tom directed. Bill glared at him for that comment.

“Um, Tom, I think you miscounted because I see one normal looking guy, one guy with girly looking hair, one guy that looks like a gangster wannabe, and one handsome looking guy with long black hair,” I tried to settle the score for Bill.

“Bill I think your friend is trying to piss Gerhard and Tom off,” Gregor spoke.

“Yeah and I think it’s working,” Gerhard said. They continued to set up their instruments. I noted that Gregor played the drums, Gerhard played a guitar as did Tom, and Bill was checking the microphone. Wow, Bill is going to sing for me. I think I might just melt. They finished setting up and looked at me.

“Are you ready to be blown away by my amazing guitar playing,” Tom tried to flirt with me again.

“Blown away, yes. By your ‘amazing’ guitar playing, no,” I gave Tom a hard time.

“Okay, we are going to play a song we wrote for you,” Bill told me while Tom glared at me. They started playing and I looked at Bill. He began singing a melodic tune.

“Every day, I scream, scream, scream,

Into, into, into,

The night, the night, the night,

It feels like I'm running, running, running,

Through a monsoon, monsoon, monsoon,

I scream, scream, scream,

To make the pain, pain, pain,

Go away, away, away,

I SCREAM, SCREAM, SCREAM, SCREAM,

To make the pain go away, way, way,

I SCREAM, SCREAM, SCREAM, SCREAM,

To make the pain go away, way, way,
