Bad Boy?

Chapter Three

School had finally finished, and now it's time to go back home.

I walked out of the school's gate, trying to avoid having to talk with people. I had enough talking with people today.

"I am back," I shouted as I opened the front door, looking for my mom through the house.

"Hey, how was school hun?" my mom asked and greeted me with two kisses on each cheek.

"Eh, same old same old," I said grabbing an apple.

"Did you make any friends?" 

"Kinda."

"Anddd?" she asked me hoping for a full answer.

"And what?"

"What's his or her name?" she looked at me with excitement in her eyes.

"It's a girl mom, and it's Emily."

"Oh." 

"So, what's for dinner?"

"My famous lasagna," she said with a small smirk on her face.

"Oh, yum yum," I said while placing a hand on my tummy and rubbing it like a child.

"That was amazballs," I said trying to breath from all that lasagna that I just had.

My mom let out a small giggle and then looked at me.

"What?" I looked at her confused.

"I want you to go and say hi to our new neighbours," she turned from cute to serious really fast.

"What?! But, but" I was suddenly cut off by my mom shushing me. "No arguments," she said looking at me with her eyes focused on mine.

 "But Mo-oo" I was cut off again by mom.  "No butts, Mandy." She said and I just decided to stop arguing because there was no use.

 "Okay, fine." I finally agreed, and she smiled.

"I am going out to say hi to our new neighbours; it won't take long," I rolled my eyes waving mom goodbye as I opened the front door and started walking straight towards our new neighbours' house.

"Breath in, breath out," I started telling myself as I stepped close to the door.

I rang the doorbell and waited impatiently outside for someone to open it.

After waiting for what feels like forever, I decided to leave.

As I was making my way out, the door flew open.

"Hey," said the lady standing in front of me.

"Um, I just wanted to come and say hi and welcome you guys to the neighbourhood." I said slightly smiling at her.

"Oh, hi, how are you dear? Come, come in" she said gesturing for me with her right hand to come in.

"Luke, Jai, and Beau, down now." Shouted the lady who was standing behind me.

Wait, was she talking about Jai? Jai Brooks? The "bad boy"? I started thinking to myself.

"Sorry about that; they will be down in just a minute," She said smiling at me. "I am Gina by the way, nice to meet you Mrs.." I interrupted her by saying, "Mrs.Brown, it's Amanda Brown," I slowly smiled at her.

"Oh well, nice to meet you Amanda Brown," she smiled warmly.

"Mom, what is it so important that you made me stop in the middle of playing fifa?" said the boy half shouting at his mom.

"Beau this is Amanda, Amanda this is Beau."

"Hey," I said smiling at him, feeling a little bit shy.
